Today = Event day, Where people that win events, show off to all there graal friends, and people log on thinking theres a event, etc.

anubis_wing 08-27-2007 04:40 AM

There's normally low 20's to high 20's on at once every day for several hours.

seanthien 08-27-2007 04:51 AM

Right, So theres prob, around 8-15 p2p's on a day? Or something? Wait no, Maybe 5-12. See, without trials zones ded.

P2p's have no one to kill, and the better p2ps own them over and over, so they quit and then the better p2ps have no one to fight and then THEY quit.

GoodP2ps>Not so good p2ps>trials

Its like a foodchain.Trials are the building blocks of zone [:

bahamutstevetff 08-27-2007 04:52 AM

ye its true, i have no real challenges

seanthien 08-27-2007 04:54 AM

Correct, and you quit right? >> Frieza is a challenge i assume btw.
Typhoon also doesn't play alot because he owns most of the people, I also quit before like 2 times, because lameing over and over the same people wasnt fun.

i get on from time to time, desear is the only guy in so long who has been a real challenge

anubis_wing 08-27-2007 05:08 AM

If a server needs trials to survive then maybe it shouldn't be a gold server.

seanthien 08-27-2007 05:27 AM

What, another excuse? pft.

Crono 08-27-2007 06:03 AM

I take Huwajux's approach with:

No Teaming
No Running
No Hiding
Healing is ok

And I usually say the obvious "no hacking and glitching" for the hell of it.

seanthien 08-27-2007 06:19 AM

Er crono, Its mainly about the ending how the last 2 HAVE to spar, they CANT heal.

blazeingonix 08-27-2007 01:29 PM

Let ET'S say something!!

Your example is retarded. Of course a skilled player is going to have a higher probability of winning, because they are more skilled. If they are more skilled then it is only fair that they win because they are more skilled. Why is this so hard? Stop trying to use this arguement to get back at Anubis.

seanthien 08-27-2007 06:08 PM

Huwa you assume, I'm trying to get back, Are you inside my fken head? No, your not. Do you think giveing them a 80 percent chance to lose is fair? Even though they have just less skill over 1 person?

The less skilled person could OWN everyone else, Just the more skilled person OWNS EVERYONE. Get it?

anubis_wing 08-27-2007 06:38 PM

N-no not really.

NO THEY BOTH COMMIT SUICIDE!

No **** they have to spar, they're the only two left. I let them heal.

seanthien 08-27-2007 07:30 PM

>> Rather crono host then.

I vote for crono :) I like that healing rule. :D

I don't think it really matters. You can heal up and if you have that many meds left try but the ET doesn't have to say anything if you get lamed (laming healers is easy) OR the other player heals.

SayianOozaru 08-28-2007 12:22 AM

Trials still can't recieve any Event Weapons such as rps/bps/reapers

Also, you could heal before the spar started...The end result would be the same if both players were allowed to heal, unless one player had no meds, which would be unfair...But the last 2 HAVING to spar, is kind of stupid. I used to let players choose between themselves, if they just wanted to lame and heal, they could, or if they just wanted to spar and not heal, they could. It should be up to the last 2 players, on what they do, since everyone else didn't have to spar each other.

Deserted 08-28-2007 12:23 AM

Well, there's a reason for that, its because when Trials get it, they'll bareley get to use it ,and there gonna start bragging and then eventually have like 4k more deaths then kills, because of all the people that are gonna hunt 'em :/

seanthien 08-28-2007 01:06 AM

.. Everyone gets ****y when they win a event weapon. I seen it alot >>
In fact, i prob did it too.

If they get it, There prob not gonna die ez, Unless there the 20% chance that won, Which in either case had to be pretty decent to surivive.

That 1 person would be the person to beat everyone else up until the moment where the final spar takes place. If that skilled person got that far and manages to defeat the remaining opponent, then he gets the prize. Stop talking with illogical rationalities. If someone wins an event fairly, thus winning due to skill, then they deserve the prize.

Your logic is ridiculous. If someone who is more skilled than everyone else participating in the event wins the prize, then how can you say that isn't fair? Oh and you really think you would have randomly brought up this subject if you didn't have your poor little encounter with Anubis? Grow up, I'm not inside your head but you're open like a book.

seanthien 08-28-2007 06:01 PM

What am i thinking right now? Hm? Im a oepn book correct? Tell me. See, crono and sayian host it differently. Anyhow, Someone who kills everyone else should win, but they prob wont, Because if you go at when the event starts with 25+ people your bound to be teamed.

Though you don't see it how i see it. Lets say, um.. whos match to match on zone..x-x

Me and boing are in a event, Were match to match but i remember boing be a BIT better. Which means he would be the more skilled one.If we sparred, he would prob win, Unless i coudl heal and i had MORE meds.

bahamutstevetff 08-28-2007 07:58 PM

it should just be tough luck, zone tries TO hard to be fair.

seanthien 08-28-2007 10:18 PM

How? With v5 out now, P2ps have the advantage. I mean i can get on a trial and suck. ]: They didnt eve give the classes trials can use all the weps.

An open book is an expression which doesn't mean I can read your every thought, but read the intentions behind your actions.

Also, if Boing was a 'BIT' better and he won the event, that means he won it fairly, due to skill. Which is what an event is, a competition of skill. Giving the less skilled an advantage just jumbles the system up. Stop digging yourself a deeper grave. x-x

Deathmatch? So what? A deathmatch is a deathmatch, a free-for-all. However, an event is an event, meaning the rules towards the end of the 'deathmatch' are changed to ensure that the last two people are skilled.

E.G. If someone wins their way to the end of an event due to pure skill, then they have a chance at the end of winning the final spar. However, if someone wins their way to the end of an event due to pure luck (Or hiding), the more skilled player will obviously emerge victorious, meaning that the event was won fairly.

seanthien 08-28-2007 10:36 PM

You remember a while ago, Dragonrid? Tell me, How did she win? <<

She ran and never killed a damn person, then she and typhoon were last. Who won? And why? ]:
