hehe I'll tell you what! The things I had been playing and collection for like two years? melted in my hands...
And what did blizzard do then? They putted something called burning crusade in my hands and when I had played it for a little while I notice that I now had to start over with crappy green items because they are way better then my elite purple items and that made me cry I just wanted to have fun not to grind all the time.

In the end, You've played for maybe, lets say 300 hours. If thats the case, you'd dont know what your talking about. When you get 500+ hours, then I'll listen to you, somewhat.
You can get 500 hours in less than a year, it doesn't mean anything.

Crono, last I checked, you only had a naginita. Which classes you in the "newb" part.
But I've still been playing longer than most people including you. I don't bother going after items either, I just run around aimlessly and talk to friends, but still have been around long enough to make a fair judgement.

And if you REALLY want to slap me as a "newb", last time I checked "newbs" didn't get debug.

You don't (and I doubt you ever did) get anything rare. Which is where my point comes in. You've been playing alot longer than me, and you've never had anything worth value. Now do you see the problem?
My house died 2 times why would I care anymore? What does rare items have to do with server experience? I had that flaming ice sword thing which was given out back in 2004 but like everything else, it went down with my house.

And? I've got over 1100 hours, I belive...Might have more than that, but I really dont care to much as to check.

Ya, you've been playing Graal longer than most players. Not Graal Kingdoms.

That just means you've done work for the server. Or a friend got you it.

The players on GK, don't want to just play to play, like on Unholy Nation. To me, personally, doing the same thing over and over without getting anything new, gets old fast. That Flaming Ice Sword, isn't that "rare". I had that within 2-3 weeks of playing GK. I'll finish this later, someone needs to use the phone -_-

Hours don't mean anything really.

No, I've played Graal "Kingdoms" (it was called graal 2002 before) on and off since it was first previewed.

But newbs are never given such positions. :O

I agree doing the same thing over and over is bad, but events are not the solution.

SayianOozaru 12-01-2006 11:24 PM

But events, add more items for players to obtain. So there not just doing the same thing over and over. I would rather work to get dias to buy something new, that was just evented off for the first time. Rather than work to get dias, just to say I have them, or to buy something that's old, and that I've had a couple of times already. (Did that with the WarHammer..)

Like I said, GK has over 200 items that are event only. If staff doesn't want to give event items out, atleast make some of them craftable, so theres more variety in the game. If it only had like 30 event items, I could understand why staff only does 3 events, for items, a year. But c'mon, 200+ event items to give away? there should be 3 events for items a month, and still it would take 4-5 years before all of them got out (if you did a different item each time)

this thread decayed....
so...
fast..

Waltz5 12-01-2006 11:37 PM

Well the server just got worse.

I would say about 2/3 of the most rare items are now gone as of today. It was a crusty yet snowy situation to say the least.

ReBorn_Spirit 12-02-2006 11:15 AM

Yea it is true we probably need to get new "rare" swords and things for all you people to fight .. I mean.. trade.. over..

But hey, you really shouldnt complain about the Staff being lazy, look at yourselves once.

Are you to broken down to gather up some trade goods on GK and simply buy your own equipment and then host an event yourself, to your own rules even.

Did you know that you could probably ask Sam to make it official even??

Exactly. You pay to play GK. You pay to GET ACCESS TO THE SERVER CALLED GRAAL KINGDOMS. It's not like you pay the staff to play events, which is what your whole argument was based off of which is wrong.

LOL, I played GK before you even started Graal. Probably before you were even on the internet.

Graal 2002 preview baby.

OMG I SEE ZAK...erm...anyway...

Dayaa, you should know that just about every "rare" item has been lost on a dead account, because no one would buy it for USD. Barely any are left. And I'm pretty sure players would rather have a staff event with a event weapon prize, than have some player hold a "player event" for some craftable item, or HH item. And I've never seen anyone give something away thats worth more than 100 dias, unless they were quitting.

Ok. I guess when players make GFX for the server that don't even get recognized they are being lazy. Bjorn said he wanted stats, so I worked with Donald to make stats. Hell I even put them on a webpage to make it that much easier.

And 1 item has been used so we stopped.

Ehh not totally true. 3 big players who had rare items were able to get rid of them recently and they were kept in the game. That was until the fiasco happend that I mentioned in post #47.
