I usually keep a clean inbox, so it's no issue for me.

i always end up maxing mine out and have already had to make like 3-4 backups of my PM folder now. x_x

I just remember everything and delete only what is unimportant.

Then save them on your computer, then remove them from your box.
I save mine as a text file.

Finding/reading old messages from a text file would be quite a sore.
Increasing the size of the box is a better solution.

you can change what format for it to save but they all look confusing. Like I tried XML and it's all weird. =[

maybe unixmad can make it so that classic accounts have the current max, vip has a bit more, and gold has a bit more than vip?

Why do you guys keep your PMs anyways? I always just delete mine; they're fairly insignificant to me.

They might not be THAT important, but I see no valid reason not to increase it, considering that currently a full inbox takes merely ~700kb.

I agree, I'm sick of having to clear my inbox all the time, plus it seems to fill up pretty quick again, even if I'm the only person sending the PMs.

That's all you need. The inbox size is adequate.

You don't even really need those. There are features built-in to download your messages.

They're hard to read though, as it's a bulk of text and all these fancy coding things.

If you download it in XML format, then Mozilla or IE will probably be more than happy to render it in a nice tree for you.

Sometimes you have to remember that you're dealing with a person questioned for botting on Kingdoms because he was wedging a butter knife into his keys to hold the hotkey down for 15 minutes.

Yeah, can this be increased yet or what? My PM folder is maxing out every month and I'm terrible with backups, I never look at them again where as when they're in my PM folder I do.

Hey, if 70 messages were hardly enough for a 5 years old account, they're certainly not enough for a 10 years old one!

I don't visit this place or use private messages frequently anymore, but I don't want to delete any more of my very old messages in order to unclog my PM box. :(

I still don't get what's the big issue. :P
