You missed his point completely. He's talking about how an EL revival is being put on this pedistal when in reality no one is ever going to bring back EL as good as it was. No matter how much you put into it, it's just going to be a new server with an old name.

Same thing applies to you and Elven Lands.

And all the old stuff, if the players are different, o well? Seriously.. the only thing that will be different is the players.

They are redoing Graal2001 COMPLETELY, only using the levels.. everything is being remade (including majority of the levels), custom bodies that resemble the old char etc..

What we've been trying to say is that the players made Elven Lands. Not the content.

Same thing with Enigma. You could bring it back like J5 did like 8 times but without the Goons/ATC/Holy Crusaders/WDK it's just a crummy server.

Do you honestly think, by todays standards, a server can survive with old levels and a couple NPCs?

Well Good luck with that, you're going to have to bring something new and spectacular to Graal in order to survive. The server was legendary, but by todays standards it'd be where Delteria and Classic are right now without it's Community.

I want to laugh when this server fails, it was probably good back then since it had a community and graal was sort of new back then.

Also tom, the revival wasnt good at all, at least to my opinion. It was cool for 2 days.

Some of these playerworld topics are becomming rediculous, as they are just people arguing back and forth about who's pw is better, or who copied who.

Theres the point, that server is old. And it wont be successful. I know enough to criticize what you and devil are doing. And im happy i didnt play graal for that long. I would just hate to.

Never said you threw ideas in. I was basing it off what i see in the server now. And what you should do if you are completly revamping it. PLus old levels dont work with new levels.
