They posted a couple screenshots, and from what I can see, the server is taking a step backwards from what I posted. The tiles they're using are too bland, too simple. What they showed in the screenshot I provided was nice, quality work, and was the reason I was interested in the server.

I'm sure it is possible.

Oh THOSE screenshots.

I assumed those are their tiles, even if the levels aren't, and the tiles are bland.

But they weren't as what AlexanderK made was made by him and not by Elk, and Tom or for those two.

Even if they do finish the graphics, I can't see it happening NPC-wise.
There's just too much communication involved with a physics system, I doubt Graal's servers could handle it. Also, the consideration of people on slower connections would pose a problem.

It's 2006 almost 2007, broadband isn't THAT expensive. :[

:s Yeah, people without broadband need to be shot. But some people can't get it in their areas.
Also, people who have computers loaded with spyware/viruses/trojans or like to use peer-to-peer programs while playing Graal would bring a problem.

zephirot 09-24-2006 11:20 PM

What is broadband?

CidNight1142 09-24-2006 11:21 PM

Well. I know Draenin is on the job already, but if you're looking for more ideas in the brainpan area, I'm around. I've always looked for servers who were forward thinking and actually hired people who's main job was storyline development.

No biggie if Drae's got it covered though.

Tom 09-24-2006 11:30 PM

Cidnight, there can never be enough imagination put into a game :) It would be great if you contributed towards the project.

Tom 09-24-2006 11:49 PM

I think this thread can be closed, its served its perpose and i thought arguements might breakout.
