Only because you have the lowest rep (by far) on some other forum

Is that supposed to be an insult because you terribly failed. And i know im not the only one, i especially know quite a few do it to you.

Draenin 09-22-2006 02:45 AM

I'd want a negative reputation. It just works out better in the long run.

Tom 09-22-2006 12:03 PM

lol I can imagine someone seeing they got a -1 rep point from someone, they see who it is and then give them a -1 back lol.

unixmad 09-23-2006 05:50 PM

I will validate the system today as an experimentation for 1 month.

Sam 09-23-2006 05:55 PM

Nice :pluffy:

WanDaMan 09-23-2006 06:03 PM

Lovely.

unixmad 09-23-2006 06:05 PM

That's an awfully attractive account name you have there.

smirt362 09-23-2006 07:37 PM

Is there anyway to check your own reputation and see what comments you get?
And...could you add something (or is something allready added) to notify you when you get reputation from someone?

Well that seems dumb...

KuJi 09-23-2006 07:49 PM

Lets all negative sam and darlene!

unixmad 09-23-2006 07:49 PM

It seems you have been the first the receive a reputation from me, i am not so surprised by it anyway... Even if i agree that i should reduce the number of point that admin give/substracte, there are better way to say it.

I Will focus on giving positive reputation now.

You should really state why you disagree with something, instead of just saying "that's dumb"

Yea, I think that is a bit high, it should only be slightly higher then normal if you want it to be higher.

I'm looking forward to being the black hole of the forums. >:}

Pfft, I already got negative rep points for a very stupid reason.

lol, no...but I am sure that one is coming ;)

It's a toss up on who's gotten into more severe fights so far between you and me. You have the ability to settle 'em. I usually have to wait 'til I've verbally bloodied noses and knocked out an entire row of teeth before things get settled.

So, in a way, I sorta have to earn my scars, whereas they sometimes come to you simply because of what place you hold in the community.

WanDaMan 09-23-2006 08:56 PM

It'd be cool if you could implement the AP system on Graal on to the forums. This new feature you've just added would go perfectly with the idea imho.

100ap - Good Reputation ; Gold User Name
50ap - Good & Bad Reputation ; Blue User Name
0ap - Bad Reputation ; Red User Name

As long as people don't take it too seriously.

Crono 09-23-2006 09:00 PM

yeah on the other forums i dont even care, hell I even WANT people to negative rep me :P

Draenin 09-23-2006 09:01 PM

It'd be neat if the name colors changed, too with the AP bar, like on classic servers. Moderators, GSTs, and so on could be denoted with special icons that take place of the online status or something similar to that.

You should really not tell the customer what to do.

Oh, the rep system is up :O

Zero Hour 09-23-2006 10:35 PM

I would have liked it a lot more if you could use this function more than ONCE every TWENTY FOUR hours. x_x

This other forum, that might be related to this one, but I won't name any names, did the system better.

He is talking, of course, about the Digital Point forums.

No, I don't think it would be good. It would make the users starting a reputation fight.

How come? The name of the reputation giver is not revealed.

Yes, but that doesn't stop some ppl. to revenge on someone who post something he dont want to hear.

Yet it'd hardly be a "reputation fight".
Setting a limit of two per day couldn't possibly cause much harm.

Thats true it wouldnt cause harm. I would agree to a limit of two per day, if its 1 point for a good and 1 point for a bad rep. But at the moment we are in a test, so we will see how things are going in general.
