Perhaps the experience allows the player to have the mental faculty to be able to power their plasmasabre. I always thought it was powered from the palm implant. It is too small to see though. Experience and energy combined make it a powerful weapon and it can be sustained without cost. The problem is that the swiping tires the user. :D
