Double post? Where? I did in no way double-post, mate. You're just ignorant =)

Also, take some French spelling lessons, you need them.

he stated that the world should speak a universal language

What is your argument against a universal language?

Actually, he said that the would should just speak a universal language...

Having a universal language would be very useful... But if we just have that universal language, and no one speaks what their native language should be (No more French, German, Portugese, Japanese, etc) that's not so cool.

Diversity is hottttt.

I doubt it's that many... But english has alot of really odd exceptions, so that makes it difficult to learn.

And you completely misinterpreted him.

A universal language would really be quite useful, although it seems as if English is taking this role.

There are many languages harder than English, though.

It simply won't work because languages have backgrounds and are related to people's cultures. Unless you magically unite the world and make people forget about cultures and stuff like that it wont work.

1) Feasibility isn't the same as desirability.
2) It's in everybody's interests to speak English. The bigger it gets, the more incentive there is to learn it. The whole thing is a self-perpetuating cycle.

People don't care about culture as much as you think.

Don't talk about people, you know yourself and nobody else. Don't say what the humanity likes or not, because you are wrong with that ignorant statement.

Everybody does not follow your steps and thoughts.

So, what, you're allowed to talk about people but I'm not? Why is that? And can you support your assumptions in debate?

When you're in a spanish shop, and you're english, you usually get annoyed if they don't understand you. That is you disliking the fact you cannot understand each other, which would probably mean that using a universal language, in problems like the above, would be simply overcome without a paid interpetuer.
