You would only be dazed if it was your first time fighting, otherwise a punch to the face would just increase your anger.

The only reason I win fights (since i am bad at first strike) is because the opponent is usually too stupid to constantly punch, which would be very hard to react to. If you are some superhuman who doesnt react to being hit at all, please share the source of your power :whatever:.

Maybe YOU are dazed but most people don't react that way when hit. Your body isn't just one linery peice that can only hit someone one way. For one, (this is cheap) but you CAN kick people. Most people when hit get heated or go into a frenzy, as is human nature, where their strength reaches its peak and pain does not effect them as much. I for one have practiced self-control over my subcontiance where pain does not effect me. My knuckle got completly ripped off the other day and I was bleeding like crazy and I didn't even notice it till I looked down at my hand. Every person is different. We do not follow the same track as everyone else so please do not assume you know this because of the "fights" you have gotten into. Your subcontiance can also hold back when hit as is another human instinct so that might be what you are talking about.

No, a punch to the face to most people will make them stagger (I didn't really mean dazed), since it puts a shock on the brain, causing it to not be able to think much or react for at least a second, depending on the force. Unless you all have been in a real fight and taken punches to the face, and know what it's like, shut up, because I will obviously know the reaction better than you. It may increase your anger; after you recover from the blow.

EDIT: didnt see Zokemon's post:

Zokemon, are you saying you wil lhave no response when you're hit other than increased strength? You have controlled your subconcious so well that you have only positive reactions to pain? Besides, it's not necessarily the pain, it's the force of the blow, the fact that something of high momentum hit you, which would cause your brain and body to go out of sync for a second or so. Everyone I know is like this, so you must have achieved a form of evolution not yet reached by man, congratulations.

I have been in a real fight MANY times and am not the wimp like most people online are. I really doubt you have been in a honestly good fight but I am not going to degrade you so I will let you say you have. Just so you know though I HAVE been in a fight so please don't say I don't know what i am talking abotu because your brain usually doesn't do that, drugs do that. *note to self*

I didnt say you havent, i said dont post about it IF you havent. There is no such thing as a good fight, let me tell you. But since I know what you mean, I will ignore that. I have been in many fights, and though I'm a wimp, I have won most of them (I'm not gonna post how I win, if it's really that important to you pm me). I have had to take on as many as 3 people that were a lot stronger than me, and know what happens when anyone is hit; I see my own reactions AND theirs too, so I know my punches even have the same effect.

Slash-P2P 12-10-2004 03:28 AM

Falco, Yes I have been in a fight and it hurts like a ***** when your hit but when I'm hit I'm not dazed and confused for a few seconds, I'm pissed off.

Now stop ranting on you hypocritical self proclaimed master of fighting.

falco10291029 12-10-2004 03:30 AM

you stil laren't getting what I am saying. I admit dazed was the wrong word, but no unless you are invulnerable you are going to stagger from a punch, simple physics.

Of course your going to get forced back a little. But that has nothing to do with any of the other things you are saying. Your just looking dumber with each and every post.

Punches hurt.

End of discussion.

falco10291029 12-10-2004 03:36 AM

If you are gonna get forced back a little, that's staggering, and you wont be punching back while staggering.

EDIT: ON the contrary, I'm proving more points wrong every post, you guys just wont listen to logic.

I don't know what kind of people you fight, but people I know (including myself) would be punching even while someone is staggering.

You just drag on a stupid arguement and that is why nobody listens to you. Your also doing this in more and more threads so your respect is constantly dropping.

THat would be kind of hard, anmd if they somehow were, then they wouldnt get anywhere, may as well try to punch someone while falling down.

No, I keep an argument going until i either win or am proven wrong. Neither has happened yet.

Its called 'take a step forward and punch again'.

Your proven wrong all the time, but you just bring up more bull**** and change your answers to keep the argument going.

v. stag·gered, stag·ger·ing, stag·gers
v. intr.

1. To move or stand unsteadily, as if under a great weight; totter.

I'm afraid this definition fits context better:
Quote:

To cause to totter, sway, or reel: The blow staggered him.
You aren't going to be punching while swaying from force, now are you? As I said, it'd be the same basically as punching while falling.

That supports my end of the argument if anything.......

haro41 12-10-2004 05:14 PM

id also like to point out that graal and boxing have absolutely nothing to do with eachother.
build the damn fighting system and then beta test it. and if they complain, well change it!

zokemon 12-10-2004 07:15 PM

Thank you.

Stop breaking the tree structure.

falco10291029 12-11-2004 01:55 AM

Oh who cares about your dang tree structure. If you don't like the fact that normal view users dont always want to follow that, since it isn't a rule, you can just deal with it.
