im kind of late for this one...
but about the whole grfx scripts or levels thing think about it this way
ANYONE can make a level, it really doesnt take much talent to do that at all
as for graphics or scripts well much more interesting stuff there

Myomoto 08-05-2004 08:28 PM

Making levels takes practice though, and an eye for detail, it's a bit like gfx in a way I guess...

LordZen 08-05-2004 11:24 PM

Nah it dont take practice to make good levels, just nice gfx and an eye for aesthetic quality.

I still think, to this day, that I am responsible for the 2-3 best looking levels on GK, and those are the only ones I ever did.

GK is not very representative for level making.

Crono 08-06-2004 11:24 AM

GK's levels is a matter of spamming barrels, some ugly floor, and useless objects onto the level rather than having attractive floor designs and useful things.

Oh you mean the outside? Roads suck, "3d" got boring, and the trees dont even fit graal.

teshy2 08-06-2004 06:13 PM

In conclusion, GK looks horrible.

LordZen 08-06-2004 06:48 PM

Yea, I know this, its just a matter of using alot of npc props well in a level on GK to make it look good.

I made like, one level for Babylon once apon a time, also, and that level kicked ass, too. My old hidden spar sanctuary in the forest above Central, I think that level only existed in old Babylon though..
