I really dont see where Enigma's tileset is all that bad (if it shows right), I have also had that tileset error, and reconnected, and it was fine.
Quests are not that great, however (but I have seen worse)
NPC's (I have seen better, and worse)
There are several things on the PW that are not allowed though

Anyway, the pwa is working on the issues at hand (as VT said), so I dont see what the problem is

Warcaptain told me (on AIM) that Stefan and Unixmad banned him from Enigma and gave ownership to Ky and the other goof to get back at him for making (or trying to ) his own game.


About enigma, right now it's a mess. This is NOT the Enigma we all know and I bet a lot of "us" oldbies (im not that much of an oldbie to enigma, only 2 and 3/4 years old to it) dont want to see a server this "crappy" named Enigma. The tileset is bad, the flute looks like a peice of rope, and they took out the big Church that all enigmians usually visited for fun. They took my Aurora Kingdom and the quests are nothing special. The GP's are horrible and they dont even have the right statues in the ET Center.

Overall it's just a mess and I know this server will die out in a week. =)

Warcaptain was the better Developer but I mean, if he cant pay for it, theres nothing really he can do. The GP team was removed and J5 is hiring all new ones, there has been a better Graphics member hired, i'm sure he can fix a few things, yea I agree the manager isnt the smartest man. x.x I think he is foreign the way he talks but I don't know, he kinda talks like CyberX who was from Brazil. but CyberX was cool, I liked him. Enigma can improve. just like any other server. If it can keep a rate of 40 people on, it would actually be in the top 10 on graal.net I mean, any server with Events can get 40 people. well. Enigmas tileset reminds me of Renegede or whatever, except it's filterd 0.o, though I am not accusing anyone of stealing or anything, just something that popped into my head.

A whole playerworld... I don't know.

Quite a few of the individuals that have posted in this thread can make levels, scripts, and gfx at a higher quality level that has been shown on Enigma.

Lets see... I work on Enigma, and I myself will admit it needs some work. But, we have a very efficient team, and we get things done fast as needed. When I started there (which was a LOT later then most of the other staff, I just did a lot of work since I started, but I still have exponential amounts more), old enigma stuff did exist. Some of warcaptains scripts were there even... and they were messy. He had some good concepts, and I expanded upon them.

Whoever said the flute looks like rope ignores the fact that it plays a lot better, and has the cool runes spit out. Oh no, lets single out the negative and use it as an excuse.

Heh, a big argument broke out about Warcaptain being manager again. Funny because if J5 and SL were doing a good job then this argument would have never broke out. :rolleyes: You can call it enigma but it IS NOT ENIGMA. It is just a server that took the overworld, added a horrible tile set to it, then named it Enigma Graal and put it up expecting all the oldbies to come back.

And also threw in some bad development schemes (copying images, stealing levels, etc.). Did Warcaptain use the concept of plagiarism? I don't think so, at least. I'm sure if I went to him and showed him this, he would more then likely laugh his ass off. But it's best not to let him know what his playerworld has gone to (and I doubt he would care). :)

I do admit that the flute is pretty nifty, if you didn't copy the idea from 15,000 other different servers.

I quit developing for this game. The only server I hang out on now would be 2k2 debug, simply because I wouldn't get yelled if I didn't work. Stefan doesn't ask for many projects, and when he does, they're usually small, so my laziness can tolerate it a little. :)

Cool, however this is not a popularity contest, on average there is what, 20 people on Classic? 30 tops? i was on Classic Dev till my other comp nuked, i wanted to help get it moving, i need to get in contact with Kat again. Regardless, if you work on classic, its my feeling you should be focusing primarily on classic, and not dallying arround with other jobs on less influential(sp?) servers.

Classic needs help, dividing your time does not help it anymore, no i did not direct this completely at you on purpose at first, other people are the same way, this time i did.

You understand some things unlike Geek, Well x.x It doesnt really affect me at all, I still will make my minimum at a GC(basically ET with an original name Game Coordinator) if night feels i should leave Enigma I will, I have stated that. and Classic had about 50 players on Average until Enigma came up x.x so maybe it did affect us.

I have never been on Enigma. Olden days, yes. I loved it back then. But from what I've been told about this version of Enigma I have to say I'm not so impressed.. I will pop on later when I have time to check it out; I'll post my views after I've checked it out.. :)
