Nope, that I am also looking for, but I am lead to believe the text boxes cannot be changed... but I dont know, anyone out there that can shed some light on this and give us a way? =)

It would seem that the chat text is sent in the format (colors, bold codes, etc) it is by the server. Meaning it probably can't be changed... as far as I know anyway.

(The nickname is included in that text)

We mean the green nick name when you chat in RC, not the text after it...

That certainly is done by the client.
The client simply colours anything up to the first ": " green, unless there is too much stuff that would be coloured (long nicknames).
Being as dynamic it probably is not resource-hackable.

Yea, it'd be cool to have a image in the main chat screen.. and then some transparency mods, and.. annd...never mind.

yea there is no way to do it permanently since it is in the memory for some wierd ass reason...

btw, I made a skin... I'm still doing some modifying but it's pretty much done...

If it loads into the memory from the program, it's quite feasible to edit the program to change the color. :O

Write a one-click program that applies skins. Post the source to it. Then post the resources seperately. Sounds alright with the rules.

But I made a button RC with alot of old school stuff...reminded me of alot when making it like when the farming samerie hat was made using showimg and it lagged so much it trailed behind you a bunch ^_^ here is a snap of rc
