A negative review isn't always insults, ho.

It's obvious that Bloo Kat has never had negative comments about his artwork before coming to the forums. I can't believe how defensive he gets when someone says his art isn't great. But on top of getting extremely pissed off, he also throws negative comments right back. Like "when you can make something better, we'll talk". Like you have to hold some sort of art degree in order to have a negative opinion about his work. :|

Then to quit because a few people keep telling him his artwork isn't that good... that's just childish.

I read the other post too, with the Archaic snapshot and stuff... where Bloo Kat redrew that Kenny guy from wanksta's sig. That was totally pigheaded and made Bloo just look more full of himself. (plus the sig Bloo made wasn't even good)

I can't say I agree with wanksta's methods, but at least he speaks the truth to a degree... He should probably be more positive and constructive towards the graphics... but then again, Bloo Kat doesn't even seem like he could take constructive criticsm.

Seriously, bloo kat is pissed for a good reason. There is no room for insults like wankster is unleashing out of his mouth. How can "it sucks and u suck at gfx" be helpful? It's rediculous... and also looks like some decent people are giving him constructive criticsm and he isn't going off on them either. I think besides this wankster fellow, he is taking it just fine.

He's not going off on other people because I ran him off. He just picked the guy with the orange sig to diss first. And I'm sorry, but these words aren't coming out of my mouth.

Basically what I was saying to a degree.

If you have taken art1 in High school, they teach you how to critique at least they did me. You don't say "it sux" and that's all you say. you have to tell them how to make it better..

I do really hate you. You are the form of person who starts his own pity party. The last picture you showed about your server was good, and MANY more than one liked it; but, of course, only one "truly" liked it.

Second, you come here for a critque, and then want someone to do better? Where in The Seven Hells of Sinbad (Copyright Dreamworks) did this crock come from? You want a critque and it was given; but, of course, you want someone to do better, or to give NICE ideas and thoughts.

Alot of them tried to suggest, about the boat, about the body, swords, etc., that offered the needed things [following] : What isn't to the liking, possible ways to improve the pictures; BUT, of course, they offered no helpful criticism at all.

The people who've done some bad criticism or not been helpful, you've become so defensive, only to ATTEMPT to bring yourself up and make yourself look good, OR make them look bad, all the while telling them to grow up. Kenny didn't come for you to critque his signature and it was pigheaded for you to do so; but, of course, WE BASHED YOU.

Last of all, you hate me. Why can't I hate you, of course.

well... Bloo did take it rather personal.. I guess he was expecting "gentle" critique... but anyways he seems to be gone now and its no use confessing your true love... er hate.

He came looking for praise, and instead he got a real critique. Maybe he'll learn from this, a lot of people on the forums have talent and have seen better, so they don't bow down to him. That's probably why he got so emotional.

Wankster that fox sig of butz expresses something,your char doesnt in my opinion,i cant say "JEEZSYS YOU SUXCKOR AT GXF" cause its just a tottaly diffirent style,trying to decourage people that are making gfx is a bad thing.In a learning progress you cant use all these negative comments its ok to say alright it look ok but you could imrpove this this and this not just the plane "omg that suxxor" You will also decourge people to make gfx people who can get really good in the future if they get some support and good critisme.There for just please say something usefull or dont say anything.What bloo kat did wasnt a good thing either freaking out like that but i think alot of people would do that if they have been really working on something and someone comes and say that sucks or i dont like that at all without saying something usefull.

Out of some of the critques on the board, this is the majority of what I've seen. You start buffering their heads when it's shyte, then they get this uppy idea. Telling them pretty bad, then help is better than Candy Land.
