Yeah, even trial accounts CAN participate, though I wouldn't recommend it - if they lose their connection right before a match, it'd take a while to get themselves back up to speed.

Thym, I emailed you, but I think my question was anwered in a post on this thread: Playerworlds that arent open, (ie, are on the RC list, but not on the Graal server list that comes up automatically) cannot participlate? is that right?

Cause I own a server that is under construction, but could add rooms off my onlinestartlocal and such to hold a place for people to type in my playerworld's name, and participate.

Yeah. You can't say "These 5 players are representing my server" if you don't have at least 5 players, and if you're not public you don't have players.
Soulblade tried to swing a technicality as he had 5 beta testers, but "Friends of the owner" is a lousy qualifier. Hardly fair.

I went back and read stuff, I remember reading something about going on the PW on a certain day to set outfits, but I cant find it, so when was this? And can we get times on when the participants need to be on the PW for each event for each day?

I think they are going to be the reps that the kingdoms chose, not sure though.

Everything was suppose to be sent in on Friday I believe (this past friday), the games start on the 4th, and I dont even know what times to give people to be there :(

Can't do the spar unfortunately - Stefan's out of town. We did kick it off with a spar between Angel, Unixmad and myself.

Regardless - The first event is Endurance, beginning at noon PDT, 3PM EDT, 8PM GMT I guess and 9 CET probably. I'm not good with conversions, there's a huge timer in the Graalympus Lobby. All events will be held at the same time on different days - Trivia tomorrow, Race Wednesday, Sumo Thursday, and Spar Friday.

This is just a funny little thing me and DragonX were having a convo in the trading tables and the colosseum yesterday:

Yeah dude...I discon'd Tseng for getting in my way. NoPK zones are supposed to mean that players can't block stairs; the fact that they can indicates to me that there's a problem with the noplayerkilling command. I find it suspect that you believe I had 3 months to plan this: I had 1 week to get it all ready for the 4th of July, the a month to try and get pw admins on board. However, without Unixmad online to corroborate most of them just disconnected and/or banned me for wasting their time or something, which is why we have 4 worlds participating.

The Endurance Rematch Event is rescheduled to Saturday. I spoke to Unixmad and he's willing to put the prize up again, since Classic's win only cost him a T-Shirt. The same 4 competitors are invited; the original winner stands to win a second T-Shirt I suppose, everyone else a first T-Shirt and the $40 to their team's host.

Next year - because I do intend for there to be a next year - we should have an annoucement system and scripts that work. Humble beginnings and all.

I will probably have to be in the Saturday, or find someone else by doing another event on Npulse preferably if thats ok, because the person who was in it (Nightmare) wont be home, and the original winner only won the event to screw me by not showing up (Zido)

Sounds fair, but you'll be the alternate. In the event that Nightmare shows up, as the primary, he's in. If he then quits, that's it. If he doesn't show up, it's you; if you quit, you're out. If you log out, you're out. Endurance events work that way. I'll go more in depth with the rules this time around - since the definition of an endurance event is one where the key players try to stay online longest, logging off to take a walk isn't acceptable...unsticking yourself to get an autograph doesn't count...resetting your computer, or claiming to, doesn't count.

I'm really thinking of dropping the qualifiers for most of these events next time. Let people select any playerworld they want for home server, then open the door for a half hour and lock it, everyone goes crazy with the tug of war, last man standing's the winner bar none. You lose a lot of the Team NPulse unity if it's just a mass of people, but the trivia event certainly woulda gone smoother that way...just make an NPC to keep track of marbles and who submitted their reply first...*shrugs*

Which reminds me, Did daniel show up for classics represenative? My other account is Tsurugi and i was chosen as an alternative player in the event he didn't show up. So i'm curious to know if he did or didn't.

Another day, another catastrophic miscommunication...
There was a thunderstorm, and it cut off my power while I was talking to Angel. So I told her if I can't make it today, here's the stuff to do it. Then she thought I meant that I won't be on today and I guess she freaked out, since I hadn't told her how to host it, so she cancelled it. Which is too bad, since the power did stay up after that, so I did make it to the Graalympics...only to find 3 of the 4 PWs had no reps on at all, not even their alternates, not even 5 minutes after the deadline.

So the race will be held tomorrow at the usual time, and Sumo will be held immediately after.

damn it, now I have to try and get ahold of these people again

James was supposed to find reps for G2K1 and G2K2. He then decided to take a nap instead.
G2K0 will not be participating as I have concluded the entirety of the player base is composed of barbarians of insufficient attentionspan to participate. (translation: they scared me off)
