.nw is way better than .graal, you can edit .nw easier with wordpad, and the file size doesn't matter as long as it is under 64kb so you can upload it, and if you have a level that is 64kb, then that is just pathetic

besides, .nw is considered the new standard, why bother making a .nw -> .graal converter

THANK YOU...I was going to have to copy and paste everything over into a newly genned overworld which takes like 50 times or it freezes, THEN bring over the npcs...THANK YOU this was sooo much easier :) :) :)

honds made it. Well, he made the great Assimilator, which converts references to .gifs to references to .pngs - Stefan provided the gif2mng utility.

I don't THINK he'd mind if it got distributed...I dunno, I'll see if he still answers his ICQ

People still have .graal files lying around that they actually want to use for something? The editor used to be able to (and maybe still can) open .graal files and save them as .nw files, but I guess that doesn't help much if you have to batch convert.

.nw levels are easily edited using notepad. You can't say the same for .graal files.

Also, .nw levels are easily edited using Anything. I usedtacould made some java programs to run through a bunch of .nw files at once...can't remember what for, I think it was the basis for an ill conceived Serverside converter...
