What if you are RPing in a non-RP zone?

I've been killed just about everywhere

Dustari/Inra, Zormite/Zionus, Orc Caves, Samurai/Senbotsu and the Pirate Crew ship and caves.

I don't even know where those areas are exactly that you mentioned, I was on the outskirts of Harmonia when I was PKed the first time, and in Harmonia most of the other times, and also at the auction place.

I guess there are two types of people who don't play Bomy moon:

* New players that get frustrated

* Old players who have already worked hard to see what can be seen, have been reset, and don't want to work over again.


..I build up in 2k2 because, well, I want to get through an immense map sometime, or just the haunted house, I can finally attempt that at least now. The game dynamics change as you get stronger, mostly in the form of spells and items, but there is always more to get and 'explore'.

In 2k1, I don't see quite the same draw to new and interesting things as in 2k2, or it seems all the interesting places are hidden and it's too hard to find them when first starting out.

The solution may be in a two prong approach, one to get the old players back with new content and quests, the second to attact new players with better starting information and a peaceful mode (even if there is a limit on how long an account can be in peaceful) would go a long way.

Yes. I played Furc, and it's not like they even tried to RP. I quit after about 3 days. Then some friend bugged me to play again, so I played for another 3 days. Then I quit for good.

As for the 10-minute thing, 10 minutes is WAY TOO LONG. Maybe 2. MAX 5.

My thoughts on this.

First thought - Its incredibally boring
Oh look 2k1 back up, oh look 50 players, oh look just as I thought a week later back down to 5-. 2k1 is incredibally boring, you get everything and theres nowhere to go, you can just sit there on it and I dunno, sit. Thats all I used to do on that server. At least 2k2 you can at least level or check shops find things etc.

Second thought - Equality is quite a lie
Well what about RPing! Thats fun and at least its equal! So, inequality doesn't make for bad RPing people made for bad RPing. An idiot RPer on 2k2 is bound to be just as much of an idiot RPer on 2k1, you can't change that.

Third thought - Can anyone say carpel tunnel?
Wow, so you don't have all the stuff, theres something to do left! Wait how am I going to make money......Jobs! I can make......5g per hour! And for the rest of my known life I can work and get 1000g! Hmm, in this aspect 2k1 is NOT equal, theres is always the very rich, and the very poor, oh my. And to get rich on 2k1 its a lot of tedious buttonsmashing that could quite possibly be a form of chinese torture. You complain you can't make money on 2k2, and what? Its easier on 2k1?!

In conclusion.
2k1 is boring, 2k1 is frustrating, and 2k1 can put you in the hospital. We all loved it, but for christ sake let it die in peace, or at least redo the damn thing.

And I am not trying to glorify 2k2, its not much better, at least until that horrible alchemy junk is removed. I know 2k2 can be boring, its why I don't come on much.

The day they made macroing illegal was the day I stopped playing and gave myself millions of durbies and gold to make money ;O
