Well, this does seem a lot like a new game.

I don't expect them to make it like Graal, where when you die you spin about, and a jingle is played.

Anyways, I was just hoping for an online action filled game like that to play, and also hoping Graal 3d would be it.

For the people talking about people moving to Ever-Quest...if that was going to happen, don't you think it would have happened already considering all other Graal servers don't compare to that? I wonder what 2k1/Bomy Moon would become...*hopes it becomes free Classic style so it becomes populated once more*

I hope the game play is pretty similar to Dynasty Warriors 3... :p I really like how kingdoms fight in there.

I moved to Everquest mostly ;) I wanted to play a 3d game and I really liked it. But who knows with graal3d comming out I might just quit EQ depending on how it turns out. :P

If the Classic 3D graphics are too cartoonish, I probably won't use it.

Why?

Nonrealistic stuff looks really bad in 3D, it looks like some sort of console mario game or something.

Realistic stuff looks bloody great in 3D....


So please, good sirs, don't waste your time on trying to make overly cartoonish graphics for playerworlds et cetera, as the more realistic style is always preferable.

Oh yea a question just came to mind. Is there going to be some sort of level editor available for graal3d? I would like to try my hand at making 3d levels. :) I've done a couple things here or there in 3d games like Jedi Knights: Dark Forces II but I've never had the oppurtunity to do any serious work in 3d. :)

addon: Also I agree with Jeff. I'm not really interested in a cartoony 3d game I like the more real looking. Examples like Everquest or the current screen shots you have up. :)

I think they mean something how zelda64 looked... that was preety cartoony in my eyes.

I would really love to see a non lagging server before graal3D comes out... it isnt too fun seeing all this progress on new stuff when the old stuff should be worked on

What server do you play on? I dont have any problems with lag and I'm running on a 56k. Only time I get lag is when there is alot of lighting effects. Or bad scripting. ;D

I like what I see... I for one don't care if it ruins graals hack-n-slash 'character' if you want random player-killing and such, play the classic servers... Graal's character was always something different for me...

As far as I am concerned, if the graphics aren't at least as good as Neverwinter Nights I'll be quite displeased.

I have to totaly disgree with you. I think cartoonsish things look great in 3D. Actually in my eye they look better. I enjoy playing non-realistic games because I wouldn't be on my computer if I could just go do it for myself or see it myself.

I guess its just a personal opinion on what you like :\

FFXI has been out in Japan since October (Or earlier) I believe... I know it's been released though.
FFXI SHOULD be released in March or April here...
FFX-2 is a bad move, you don't make a sequal to one storyline in the Final Fantasy series =\.... and if you're going to pick one to spin off of, they should have done FFVII.

No offense but the Star Wars I adventure game had nicer graphics.

If Graal3D ends up looking as bad as Zelda 64, I don't think I'll be able to stand to look at it.

Well ofcourse they wouldn't be the same quality.

But the theme would be based of of it.

Whats morrowind's combat system? I only seen graals and FF's. Plus I like 2d graal's system. Plus it might not be any. Its probaly like a sneak attack. Like maybe red alert or something. Or army man. When you hide in the grass like one of the levels has. Like tall grass you just do a sneak attack or whatever. My opinion ;)

Thanks bunches aftershock...from the screenshot, it isnt my type of game, but it looks very nice...I like the cartoony stuff, lol...and I dont like role playing, so guess it wouldnt be for me. Might check it out though when it is done :)

Personally, I don't like over-realistic games. Games like Metroid Prime have 3d graphics that I like, but really I like the cel-shaded stuff more since it gets back to the fantastical look that video games should give. The new graphics for graal kinda look like that kind I don't really like, but aslong as the game is still good I'll play it.

Overall, it does look really good. The water looks a bit enchanting, nice job!

Yes, Unixmad I got a pretty darn good idea. While it is almost up and when the VIP's are testing it or before that. Just do something like a video/preview movie so we know what it would be like or so...

I know that the Graphics are good and its 3d and all but it's going to probably turn into a whole new game i know i like it how it is with the graphics now and new coming i know 3d looks much better but it just isnt graal:\
