The bodys have imperfect onwall. So you can sometimes walk through stuff... atleast the default ones didnt ;-\

OLD BODIES YES.
|
Eh, well, I'm a bomy (unless I need to fight, which reminds me, bomy walling bug needs to be fixed so I don't have to morph whenever I want to fight). But the new bodies are pretty bad :-\. And besides, if the staff brought back the old bodies, Stefan probably wouldn't be around to notice it until sometime next year :p.

Why he now limits the bodies is beyond me, but I'm just glad the playerworlds do not suffer from this crap and can still use the old bodies that you could CUSTOMIZE. |
Stefan most likely did it because he thought shape was more important then colour...
The HP on the other hand, I don't know WHAT he was thinking. |
There's certainly a lot of customisation as far as the new bodies go in my eyes, seeing as how there are roughly 60 of said bodies on the server.
If you dislike the ones that are already there, make your own, submit it, and use it, it's not that hard. You shouldn't be changing your outfit every single day, either. |
I don't care about new bomys but I HATE the HP system.
|
I don't care about the colors really and i don't care about the HP system except that people who start as bomies get more which is LAME on the part of the scripters... its going to evolve into a huge problem and wind up getting fixed with a server reset -.-
Anywho... I implore you to bring back the old swords and the old hurt.gani because then you can at least fight, the new hurt gani thing makes it so they can chase you and keep hitting you, FIX that and crank up the speed on how fast you can continuously swing your sword instead of tap tap tap |

It wasn't any "lame" decision. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was Stefan's...not ours. |

This should go in the Graphics Forum, but I figure I can get away with posting it here without having to make an entire thread for it.
Of these two front views, which do you prefer? The one on the right is the body currently online, on the left is my slightly edited version. I only started because I didn't like the cape's shape, but the entire process of just pasting on the corners is rather tedious if very easy, and I'm not sure it's worth finishing. Tell me if you think it's at all worth continuing. |
Gah, sword is impossible for me to get because I can't kill any monsters, partly because I only have 133 HP! >_<

I use that body too and I know it looks a little too much like a robe or something. It needs to have a belt and it needs to look like a coat. The blue and black on the one online look too similar. |
Gah, new bodies are way better, the old ones look like retraded versions of the new ones. The old bodies have WAY less detail.
The only thing bad with the new bodies is that the sword doesn't swing as fast. |

the new bodies are terrible |
its.....too.....hard....to.....pk

I hate the new bodies. Your head looks like a watermelon compared to the bodys, sparring/PKing is no fun at all and they aren't very customizeable. There may be 60 bodies, but about half of them suck.
|
A lot of players quit playing Graal because of the new bodies. I like the old bodies better then the new ones. It is hard to pk or spar with the new bodies. Bring back the old bodies :)
Also keep the current HP System, it's better then the old one. |
ALMOST everyone in this thread that has posted wants old bodies.. i hope we will get them

Also, if you people think the heads look oversized, make NEW LESS OVERSIZED HEADS! |

New bodies are the worst thing ever to plague 2k1. Hats that looked great on your character with old bodies now look stupid with the new bodies, there are STILL ganis that haven't been fixed to work with them, walking is slow as hell, and the bodies are all ugly. There, now you know why the new bodies are flat out horrible. This is the worst mistake ever made by 2k1 staff, and I hope they have the brain cells to realize this and reverse it for the good of 2k1. If you like the new bodies, please tell me what you are smoking. |

I think what someone should do (maybe Stefan or another experienced graphics person) is make a new body template for every single old one (like body1, body2, body3 etc.) for the new bodies. This way, if someone just wants a new body, all they have to do is simply recolor the template that someone made.
That's the problem. No one has the patience (and the skills) to open up a program to make a body. For example, look at the cape. It's really really hard to make a cape body! If someone made it, think of how easy it would be to recolor and upload |

No one seems to understand how the system works... |

Obviously, something here has to change. Does Cyberjoueurs expect people to pay for a product that they are not satisfied with?
Since Stefan seems to be so adamant about G2001 using the newer bodies and the majority of the players want to be able to use the older bodies, perhaps a compromise could be reached. The most obvious solution would be to implement a system of choice for the players. This way, they could decide which style of body they want to use for themselves. Another problem here is that the G2001 management seems to be to intimidated by Stefan, and is afraid to make a such major decision by themselves. Come on now, that is ridiculous. Stefan has left you in charge of his world, because he trusts you and your judgment. You are the ones that are on here daily, not Stefan, and I am sure that if you were to revert back to the older bodies, he would accept your decision and move on. |
