and I would get Norton System Works ....... I also use Norton Internet Security and catches many attacks on me by people using backdoors to my comp.. and blocks all attempts.. it is a daily thing with me , they try to hack me everyday...and no one has ever been sucessful ...

High Tech made a program for Hell Raven to hack the server Flags , This I know for a FACT because I talk to High Tech on Aim and *****ed him out about making programs for Hell Raven. High Tech makes programs and sells them so he is quite capable of doing this....

Also the other day while on N-Pulse some guy asked me to download his super neat cool game he made. I never did. That gives me an idea. I'm gonna go look for that text file for the account.

This has to of been why my Zen_babylon account was hacked, i presume. The last night the same thing by the same person happened to me on AIM. I asked him if his 'company' had a site, and it did...gah what an *******. I get on Babylon today with my p2p account because apparently Zen_babylon had a new password, which I thought nothing of because I knew the RCs were getting deleted and that was probably what happened. Well I get on and I hear that everything in gfx folder had been deleted. Luckily I had taken alot of my own rights (including most all my folder rights) away a week or so ago.

Also, I have a 56k connection and I had tried to change that *.*.*.* thing to something better, but my IP changes every time I log on the net. I'd always end up just not being able to connect myself. I guess I should probably change the passwords to my other accounts...

a) i specifically asked for it to be sent as a file throguh aim, instead of just a direct connection. i scanned it with norton antivirus 2002 ( last updated 3 days ago ) it said ti was fine. so i presuemd it would be, ive been testing alot of online agmes lately, for liquidice and the such, i presumed i had been put in contact with him or somthing. i wasnt stupid, i did EVERYTHING i could to check the file, but because it was specifically designed my virus scanner didnt pick it up. :-/ pile of crap.

the most annoying thing is the mass going out about the new online game, there isnt a trojan in the file but if you connect, there's a backdoor that sends your graal registry or whatever

Those kinds of masses are illegal on Graal to start with and is spelled out in the Graal rules..

Tyhm I would have the players "turn off " the html on the PMs for a few days till this dies down.. that way they cannot atuomaticly be sent to that site when the PM is recieved....and warn them about that site...

I change my password once every 4 days (Dunno if it helps) and i also dont save my passwords i just write em down :D so far my acct has been hacked but this was before i did all this

My comp or account has never been hacked into ... maybe because of the security I run on my comp and the precations I take on my account....;)

he told me how he hacks into peoples accounts once, he just programs his own trojan and it will capture your Graal registry and encodes, uploads to his own private FTP and then he can decrypt it. he used to play G2k1, and he tried to convince me into becoming his "hacking partner."

whatever the hell that means, hacking games is so newbish. half the time, the only motivation behind these hacks are some account being jailed or banned for using trainers, ect.

Enabling HTML in PMs is the stupidest thing since...well...stupid.

Yeah, I know, it's somewhat frustrating. I turned it off the first day I installed Graal, so...bah.

When i was hacked someone sent me a email of a song it was in mp3 format and everything i didnt realy know the guy played graal just i knew him on the net the song worked fine but at the end it said something then my computer crashed next thing i know their is a saved Microsoft word document in my documents telling me i have been hacked and what my password and acct name is.
So i saw the guy on graal banned myself changed password and have taken precautions since heh :D.

I havnt got a clue about scripts ect im just the Gfx guy :-D. Im sure thats how it happend or maybe he could have sent me something with the mp3 like a hidden file i dunno all i know it that the mp3 messed up and my computer crashed and u know the rest :'(.

I used Noton Virus thing also once and this has nothing to do with graal but it said i had a virus and it said i had to delete it so i did, after that i couldnt open any files in .exe format :'( so i had to get the whole computer wiped :D.

You've never heard of virus-MP3s?

At least you stopped him from deleting the accounts :D

why do people make fun of me for that account name? I don't even watch DBZ anymore I just have that account. Only reason I got a p2p was for me to use it on Shaded Legend as my staff account. My GP account in trail now so I use my p2p. Damn just chill out about my account name. I know most dbz people on graal are *****s but Im not one of those "SSJCoolDude Son of Trunks [needs a g/f} [SSJ patrol} {SSJ12321321}

I keep at least a couple extra accounts should one of my accounts get attacked and be used maliciously on my PW :( Everytime I try to set the IP range, though, I can't get on RC with whatever account I set the IP range on...and for those that hadn't figured it out yet, yes I'm on dialup :p

by the way...I need Stefan to fix my NPC server...it's not working, and thus, preventing me from working with NPCs :(

I would encourage people to set their IP ranges ;)
afterall. They are there to prevent this sort of thing.

Flip has always hacked, you need to globally ban his IP and all of his accounts.

Also kiddies, remember that you can set a less variant ip range like: 192.168.0.* or 192.168.*.* however if you set a Class A variable range then you allow anyone WITH AN IP (everyone) to come on if they know the password.

What do you mean by setting your IP ranges, My IP does not fluctuate because I am connected to a LAN, or a Cable Modem.
