I'd rather have Katt leading in BoF2, rather than Ryu :D (in her shaman form, that is.)

What games had female leads? All I know is Legend of Mana had one, silly me!

I haven't played 1, 2, or 9 so among the rest...
My favorite is FF5, followed by FF6, FF4, FF2, FF8, FF3, FF7
Then again, maybe I liked FF6 best. It's really hard to say. I liked them all.

It's debatable rather or not Final Fantasy 6 has a lead role, but if I had to choose one it would be Terra (she is female) Locke is secondary only to her. Oh and Parasite Eve had a female as the lead too.

Celes was as much if not more of a lead role as Terra. From the latter half of the first world on she was the principal character. That's about 3/4 of the game.

I'll stay away from the FFVI/III debate, last time I got involved in one I got my arse kicked because I played the game around 3 years ago and don't remember a thing.
