I think it's great for it's style; my only problem is the water cliffs. To me it looks like the water is above the grass-ground rather than below. (Unless it's supposed to be like that).

I know :( It's really awful. I suck at making tiles like and and I'm not sure how do to it right. I know that's the worst part of the picture and I wish I knew how to make it better.

Well, wait. it IS supposed to be above the grass-ground. It's like a rock sea-wall type thing. I still don't think it looks good though.

I think it's the shadow below the rocks. It makes the water area appear elevated.
If the Rocks are supposed to be higher than the water, try making the water below it a little darker.

Looks great, cartoonish type.

The only thing I don't really like is the color of the grass. But I can easily look beyond that and see an excellent new style :).

I just need a good GFX person...all those that have confronted me for the spot don't really have anything that is decent enough...all those I've asked are preoccupied with another job on some other server :/

An idea though...make a server with 3D terrain but try going for a cel-shaded style like the new Zelda game :)
