Yes, but people dont go on/subscribe to games like Everquest or something to PK, they subscribe to RP, what Graal is dealing with is a group of players who never really RPed on Graal and just decide to PK everything that moves... They ruin the game for everyone else. In other words, in some places it's not enforced because it doesn't NEED to be, Graal has plenty of other non-RP servers, *cough* classic *cough*, and Stefan promised 2002 would be more RP, the players wanted RP, thats what Stefan is giving us, so why put all that work into creating a good RP gameing environment just to let PKers ruin it?

I think we should build a huge under-ground maze that has one exit, and PKers can just get warped there, maybe after looking for a way out for a few weeks they'll wise up :p hehehe

Actually many people like to play Ultima Online or Everquest because they like pking :P
Also, forced RP on G2K2 is never good, because about half the people doesn't like RPing and the game will make much less money :P

RPer's tend to be the people online more, and the ones who spend alot of $ on games, because they are bored with FPS like CS.

RPer's wont be attracted to Graal if the RPing sucks.

I like RPGs, I know that most of the people who spend money on online games spend it on RPGs, however, people don't like to be forced to act like their characters on the game.

RP? What idiots....there will always be people who don't, but if they don't, aren't they? They PK, but there were always murderers in the world..they steal, so we have criminals to. You know what else we always had? Some kind of law enforcement...have a hanging for criminals, or throw them in the dungeon.

Its not POSSIBLE to not be RPing.


I would like ONE example of not RPing, and I promise there is a way to counter that.

Everyone starts out as a Barbarian.
Based on their actions, they may be recruited to one of the kingdoms, or they may choose to remain barbarians (PKers).

Me, I wanna find some baddies and start chopping them with my axe. But apparently axes only hurt trees?

Um, no Police, but i have some ideas for guards or constables in a few of the towns. and the faq system will be up later today ( maybe. i have to go to my sister's high school graduation )

I think that people should have staff positions, like developers, and the names are not like developer, maybe conjurer and stuff. However I think that it should be like NewWorld, and the people have aliases so that no one knows who they are, and so that they can work, instead of deal with pms. Also another nice thing would be if Stefan could finally get the invisible on playerlist option working for staff accounts, because that would be ub3r l33t...
