I'm all for reinventing a new standard (people made their current cards quickly enough, didn't they?), but we'll need to sort out the rules first. I'll do some thinking about it and I suggest others do the same.

Armor Class? I'm pretty sure you are knowledgable that Armor Class is from Everquest?

Armour Class is from a billion things, like AD&D, for example.

And Starcraft.

And Fallout, and Ultima.

It's always non americans that complain about that sort of thing too. You never see an american complaining about how the british spell things or whatever.

I'm not complaining at all. It's just that the majority of people here are American, and thus they may well think I'm spelling it wrong and assume that I'm unintelligent (one person has done so already).

Besides, you wouldn't complain because you were the ones who changed it in the first place.

what do you mean? the game will use my card standard thanks. and about the rules, after a few reivisions my friend began programming a simple dos console version to get the base of it done.

um, i don't know who you are but could you explain HOW my rules are like Pokemon? i've never even seen the game (heard of it though). I certainly wouldn't consider them anything like it as I thought pokemon had a bench and such. There won't be anything complex. This isn't going to be like Pokemon at all, okay?

pokemon is just... ***. i never liked it, played it, or even TOUCHED anything to do with it.

i love this idea though. i think we should get an official site for it, and have a designated team of people to work on it. i myself was a magic nerd for a couple years, so i would be helpful. i have quite a collection! so, a team... hmmm.

I use to play MTG :) That game ruled. I stopped playing it though, because people at the school I latter went to complained about all these odd types of cards I had and I should only have certain types. (Alpha, Beta, Ice Age, etc.) I had no idea what they were talking about and did not want to buy more cards, so I quit.

Anyhow, this seems pretty kewl, I gonna make one(s).

I Like Gabriel's format of cards, it looks good, nice and neet, and symbolises the charecter as well. Good Job!

Those weren't my words exactly, and I'm still going to try to invent some rules because one person cannot be the last word on what could be such a big issue. I don't claim to have any authority over it, but if I make something I like then I'll submit it to the general collective Graal population and see what they think.

I just don't want to see it fail because it's too complicated. And that's especially since I'm considering GScripting the whole thing myself.
