Classic... ahh, the memories...

Actually, I believe that if it wasn't for Classic, 2001 wouldn't exist. If it wasn't for P2P and 2001, Classic still wouldn't be up, or at least free.

I don't think all non p2p are freeloaders, but I know that some are. When I go on UN I cannot say I have a p2p account or freeloaders will ask me to share my account w/ them.

I was saying that p2p servers need improvement, most are crap, just like Classic:D

The P2P servers cant even be compared to Classic because they suck so much, same goes for 95% of the other servers. I dont see how you can say Classic is crap when there is nothing better than it.

About the people who want to use your P2P account, just hit the ignore button, then they will not be able to ask you.

Classic isn't crap, it's the best. Anyone who says it's crap I truly believe are those newbies who hate to be pked. And Classic is the biggest pk server, the newbies get mad they can't run around with their g/f without getting killed. That or they just suck, if the top 10 fighters were took from every server and it was server vs server, Classic would win by far.

Newbie Saint - if the newbie and his girlfriend hadn't killed anyone, they'd still be immune.

Classic is good, but N-Pulse is better, and G2K1 is better by FAR

Graal 2001 is run my gralat and pressing D(?) all the time. I dont really see how that can be fun.

Classic is a lost cause, It was for a loooooooooooonnnnnnnggggg time. I would advise any newbies NOT to go to Classic since it takes bloody ages to get from one place to another on it. PWs are better, because it is so damn hard to get PWs up, they have to be good. Also most PW owners think about what the PLAYERS want when they add stuff. You say classic is where newbies are supposed to go? That's bullshit, Classic is a PK haven, newbies go there and get killed by a bunch of lamers who go around saying they kill newbies. (which is retarded, that's like saying "look at me, I killed someone with three hearts and no skill, I must be a really 1337 PKer") If that's where newbies are supposed to go to find out if they're gonna upgrade, they not only will they not upgrade, but they won't even want to keep playing if they keep getting killed every 10 seconds.

Ah to many PK'ers, so your probably one of these lame Anti-PK'ers that have been ruining Graal. I see why you like those other lame servers more than Classic now. Its not that Classic is shitty, its just that you suck and cant defend yourself. Anyways

1. Classic has good levels, in my opinion, there better than Graal 2001's levels.
2. PK'ers are the best, thats what made Graal fun. You take that away and you take away the fun.
3. It seems to be only abandoned by Stefan and Unixmad, which you can still yell at them for. If you guys want more production on Classic, tell them.
4. Graal Classic has the best staff, I dont see any curuption like there is on Graal 2001 or hear about any. Argue if you want but, Graal Classics staff is the best.

Classic does suck.
First time I went on just to check around I was scared, it was way to laggy and there was no point to it, just quests and since it doesn't have an NPC Server you can't put that many scripts into it. Someone on these forums once said that if there was a Classic Forums you would be getting a ton of complaints to. To many people there have power and maybe it needs to be more organized like Graal2001.
Graal2001 is awesome, it's not to laggy and there aren't 200+ people there to ruin the gameplay. If you don't like pressing D all the time than don't you can chat and just walk around and explore the levels without lagging, it was better though when Stefan didn't spend all his time working on Graal2002 though. I like Graal2001 it has a lot more features, I don't know how you can find, goin around for 1000+ hours just killing people over and over who are defenseless, being fun, I would find that extremely boring..I rather press D 100 times a day more fun but I don't even press D since there are other things to do..
When Graal2002 finally gets released Graal2001 will start becoming funner again since Stefan will have more time for it and new things will finally start happening instead of Admins saying they will.

LOL I get no lag on Graal on my AOL 56k connection, your connection must be a piece of ****. A Graal Classic forum would only have more threads/complaints because they have way more players than Graal 2001 has. Graal 2001 has more features, yes, tobad most of them suck. Alot of PK'ers just kill anyone who comes past there way, it doesnt matter if there a newbie or not, you guys make it seem like they PK only newbies. Graal Classic IS more organized than Graal 2001, things that aint most likely are not supported because there non-P2P servers.

Im sure Graal 2002 will be fun, for about a week. After a week there will be nothing to do and you guys will start complaining again, being bored on whatever server you play, etc.

I have cable, only reason it lags is because Graal wasn't designed for Cable modems so hopefully one day Stefan makes a Graal especially for cables because I have seen phonelines more faster than cable which sucks. The only reason Classic has more players is because it's free, if G2k1 was free I'd guarantee about 800 people playing on it but it's not free and can never be free because it needs to be p2p for the servers to even be up. No one really PKs on G2k1 because it's pointless after 300 kills all you do is PK over and over what's the point of that? I rather just sit some place and talk with my friends or something. I was really hoping for G2k2 but now my hope has died out since they haven't really showed us any signs of when it's coming out, I thought it would be February but to no avail and so now I think the wait is to long, I am kind of patient sometimes but for something that has been anticipated for so long it's stupid to make us wait even longer...

Cable just generally sucks. You say PK'ing is pointless because you do it over and over, Well on Graal 2001 all you do is get gralat over and over. ****, atleast Classic has good quest. And i highly doubt people would play Graal 2001, it just sucks. Classic is a place to sit and talk to friends, atleast thats what i used to do for awhile. You know you shouldnt have had any hope with Graal 2002 comming out in Feb. because look what happened with New World, shows Graal is not capable of meeting deadlines.

Naw, that's not true. :) No broadband sucks, especially if you have an uncapped or high capacity cable line.

All my encounters with Cable have lead me to believe cable is an unconstand isp. Making it bad for video games. It is like a go and stop connection compared to a modem connection where it is constant and 'fit' for online video games.

That sucks, what provider were you looking at? There ARE Good providers out there that give you a constant connection. In contrast, all of my experiences with dialup modems have been bad, especially AOL, with frequent idle disconnects during the middle of gaming, etc.

Well, all my encounters with cable have been provided by Road Runner. Might just be there service. I have AOL 56k and seem to play fine on online games.

Ahh, I'm not fond of Road Runner. Cox seems to usually be better, but usually your best bet is a local provider. Like for me there are two, VenturaLINK and some other one I can't remember. I have DSL though.

Old classic was definitely the best. No one worried about money or wasting their time with jobs...Ahh the good old days...It was all about fun!!

1. ROFL, have you ever gone to babord? That town must have been put together by a n00b, it is the ugliest set of levels I've ever seen.

2. PK'ing is all and well, but too much of it ruins a server. If you can't get anywhere without getting constantly attacked. It's one thing for PK'ers to fight each other, it's another thing for them to attack any player that passes them.

3. If those were the only 2 that wisely abandoned Classic, I say more should follow them.

4. Remember when all the warps execpt the one that takes you to that house were taken out. That meant you had to go LONG distances to get to certain places, which sucks. When players want to get somewhere they want to get there QUICKLY, which is why warps were used.

Seems you really couldn't bother questing to get all your stuff so you used a trainer to get stuff, and you got busted by the old autojailer :) .

Well, now that I cleared that up, yes Classic is best, everyone is mostly happy, everyone has their own set thing to do, Sparrers spar, Pks PK, the newbies quest and get married...everyone is in bliss...most of the time.

No matter how much cable sucks, it beats the hell out of dial-up.
I'd rather do homework all day than a Classic quest. The classic quests are mainly just mowing down baddies, push block puzzles, and a boss that is easy. They are several levels of just those. If anyone thinks that is fun, you must also think other boring chores are "fun". Quests on 2k1 have *much* more interesting things that require timing and teamwork, not just hitting baddies or pushing blocks. The quests on UN kick ass, no questions asked. They are short, but tough, a good combination. One Classic should consider when they make new quests.

Obviously you have not seen much then.
There are a wide variety of new and fun quests, Tyhm's, Lizard Sword, Big City Volcano, Destiny Pyramid(the best), Lava Caves, new Antago's tower. These require, strengh, skill, smarts, and timing. Graal2001 on the other hand, has few quests, and they aren't very fun, except for Zal Labs and Bomy Moon.

I think you are just pissed off that you are jailed on Classic:)
