Instead of Go-Karts it should be horse racing or racing some other animal. Horse races on 2k1 were more fun than go-karts could ever be.

Boat races would be best if the boats turned 360 degrees not just up down left right. with two people controlling the oars having to push buttons really fast for speed, and one person doing the turning on each boat.

Hint: Replace the go-kart graphics with horses, and make everyone happy. Keep all your great controls, but lose the goddamn karts.

The saddest thing about karts is how much time was probably spent on them :(

here's the problem:
Graal 2002 is intended to be the roleplaying realm 2001 never was.
However, stefan wants it to appeal to non-roleplayers as well, and you'll have the same chaos and lack of fun that is 2001.

I personally think that there should be two different 2002 servers:

1. Graal 2002 Roleplaying Realm - what Graal 2002 was BEFORE the damned go-karts.
2. Graal 2002 Theme Park - the 2002 world, only without the roleplaying and with stupid hats, go-karts, and a thousand minigames.

This is one bad thing about letting ghosts on the server, people will complain about stuff that is in development and yet don't know all the facts.

The island it is being built on is a NON RP ISLAND. And about the guards, they are for kindgom leaders (far as I know) and you can summon guards and things with them. GodSpeed is making them very nicely; it will add a lot of RPing (you really cant believe me til you see it in action).

This is a ROLE PLAYING GAME. the goal is to roleplay. Not to go on quests. Not to trade hats. Not to race go-karts, but to ROLEPLAY, LIKE WE SHOULD HAVE ALL BEEN DOING FROM THE START.

But quests are part of roleplaying.....

Going on quests with people could be roleplaying, but questing as an individual for a heart or something is not.
A roleplaying type quest would be something like making a treacherous journey across a LARGE continent to accomplish something, not defeating 10 monsters, walking across a tiny walkway and giving a man a pot, and killing a boss for a heart.

No one has the right to critizice something that isn't even done, when Graal2002 is fully released then you have the right; everything is still in the works, so calm down. :)
