X_X How can you consider a PW which consists of a fair gfx good? I simply don't understand people like you who look forward to garbage...

Yes, I'm openly saying I think Oasis will be garabage, he thinks he cam make a PW in 6 months which will be better then anything. NewWorld has been going for about 2 years with lots of staff, and a single person thinks he can make something great that fast. He would have to give his life to graal and stop school or work, work constantly on his great Oasis.

I think Konidias just doesn't see how it is because hes never made a PW, but he will learn very quickly...

Many, MANY great games have taken 3 years to finish, and still many games take 2 or more years to finish. You have no idea what you are talking about, have you ever programmed anything? Are you familiar with anything game wise? Usually you have all the effects and features you need, they won't upgrade there game to look different with new effects just because they are there. They have everything they need, and no matter the effects, they still have what they need.

You think there will be a glitch free gaming system using virtual reality in 3 years? Ok lets wait and see :rolleyes:.

Once again this is another reason I think Oasis will not be as good as he says, because he obviously won't be willing to put the time in to make it good...

Umm.. and this isn't a new game, it's a playerworld, new games take years to make because they have to create everything from scratch, while Graal's engine is right there in front of me. No I'm not making the next Final Fantasy or Legend of Zelda, I'm just hoping to make a good GRAAL PLAYERWORLD.

I can make graphics, I can make levels, I can make npcs.. I don't really see anything stopping me except lack of effort, which I don't have. Oh, and the thought of you making an ass of yourself, when I prove you wrong, is enough motivation for me.

Konidias, there's a difference between making them, and making them "good." You show us a bunch of funny looking characters and a house with a backwards roof and now all of a sudden you're in the big leagues? Give me a break.

Exactly. He thinks a few characters which he has only shown 1 view of, which has a horrible walking animation, and some weird houses...and judging by the graal tileset, I sure bet his will be sooo much better! :rolleyes:

How can you judge something before you have even played it? You don't know anything about Oasis, except for the graphics I have shown.

You can't sit here and tell me that the current p2p playerworlds are any good. You should know with all your talk about how the gaming industry works.. these pw's are crap on a crap cracker.

Faheria wasn't meant for fun, it was meant for testing and getting npcs to work at 100%. Y'know, just like ToT. -_-

Ok, maybe some are bad, but thats beside the point. We currently have nothing good to replace them, so why take them down? I sure wouldn't want Murasamune, which isn't near done, to go online with a little title screen, replacing an active PW. I am perfectly fine with testing NPCs on Frolic.

When a better PW comes up, it should replace a old one which has shown no progress. Eventually, all the old PWs will be removed...but thats only if the old ones are in fact bad. You can't just make some thread saying take down every PW...people still put hard work into them and should be given a chance, thought Stefan should be a little stricter with that...

Guess he doesn't know what UC is...

btw my above post was meant for non-uc basicly...all the UC don't have players (and thats how they are meant to be) so it can't realy apply to them. And, DK is basicly UC Stefan just doesn't give it the icon

I quit for a number of reasons, one main reason being school.

I have exams in 4 days and I didn't study... but I don't quit!
Of course siomething like that will result me failing exams not graduating not getting into universety, creating Mega Computers Company, buying Graal and being ready to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
I mean... ummm... *get's flash light, puts on sun glasses* You don't remember that! *FLASH*

I never said "take them down" I just asked the public what they think should be removed.. it wasn't a demand, it was a question.

Stefan is the one that makes the final decision, I just made the thread so that everyone could see what playerworlds people could do without the most, and also if any of the playerworlds would speak up and enlighten us on what makes their server fun and worth being online.

You call me arrogant and then you turn right around and arrogantly say that my pw will not be good. I understand under construction pw's aren't meant to be fun, but I was trying to point out that it's been UC for 6 months, with no major signs of progress. I mean, it's like the staff could have all quit, and no one would barely notice.

I was also just trying to give the current P2P owners a kick in the pants to get stuff accomplished, and it looks like I did, since Andor has started working on what they have instead of making another pw and taking more time.

I'm sorry if anyone takes offense to my posts.. I don't mean them in the wrong way, and I don't post that to make myself look better or feel better. If you think I do, then that's your opinion, but I'm trying to be honest about what I say, and honest about what I think.

I currently hate how negative the forums are. If you had the admins of the forums constantly deleting EVERY negative post that comes up, we would see probably only 50% or less new posts a day. It seems as every other thread is a hate thread about somebody or something. Can't people just let it lie? And these threads about deleting playerworlds. I personally think it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Stefan and the rest of the GraalOnline staff can decide that. Feel free to flame me. I will just ignore you which everybody should do.

I acually couldcare less about graal, I just like coding :) If I wasnt able to code/make levels or anything liek that I would have been gone before 2k1 came out (I wouldnt have payed for it)

But the overal maturity level of Graal is about the agelevel of a 6 year old. and the over all intelegents of the people on graal are that of a potato (40 points :O).

What would have happend if FAheria were rlreased? We have a few mature people on SOMETIMES like maybe Alkyr and Dante :wub: but 90% would be the idiots that graal is generaly composed of, so wed have idiots runnign around the server begging to be staff and wonder why there arnt bomies and a few acual Role playeing people that would be tormented by the idiots and eventually leave. Is that really what all my work and everyone elses work goes tward? If that is the case I wish I would have never started making stuff for Faheria, but then again i luv to code, and its sortof a passion of mine. Yes, I agree with shadrocks course of aciton and I acually admire it.

There is a certain degree of truth to this, and yes, the negativity/rampant lack of intellectual development displayed in these forums is sort of saddening, but we would never learn to appreciate intelligence if we lacked something far less so with which to compare it. Sure, there are *****s that post here everyday, but there are also, good, clever people, who just happen to be funny as well.

People are never content. deal with it. They forums are NOT for informations , reporting bugs. helpng peple, talking. They are for insultintg people to the point that they hate the world. THAT IS THE #1 REASON TO POST ON THIS FORUM, and that is truly sad but its truly the truth.
