Yes, if classic died everyone would goto UN and N-Pulse

they need to add a tutorial or something to g2k2. i mean, just a little something show you how to use the new system. i'm totally confused

I figured it out quickly enough. It really isn't all that complex.

The hardest thing on Graal 2002 is finding the forester, tthey need to have his position marked on the map.

The whole first island is pretty much the tutorial. I'm sure over time they will improve it more and more to be helpful to new players

And thank god they did so. To me, it seems that the vast majority of the "bads" are things I absolutely love, for the simple reason that it will keep the bulk of people who contributed greatly to 2k1's downfall from wanting to play the server. :p

The only thing that "contributed greatly to 2k1's downfall" would be the staff dishing out rushed results, half-assed quests, incredibly boring and repetitive jobs. And I notice many of the same staff working on Graal 2002... ::whistles::

2K2 is not in a complete enough state for me to even conclude exactly what I think of it yet, same for many others. I tried it today, I mostly liked what was there taking into consideration that it was a preview.

But, the real test is the launch.

Well, it doesn't matter. Making weapons more difficult to use effectively is not an intelligent trade-off for preventing PKing. Obviously the BEST way to prevent PKing is to give the players better things to do, like hunting monsters that drop items, or many other alternatives. Only time will tell if those things will exist in 2K2 (unless a staff tells hehe)

Faheria_GP2 01-03-2002 05:59 AM

actually, I just played Shenmue II, and I got a kickass idea for the shitz known as graal, in shenmue II, you can take a pen and mark your current location on the map (in one of three colors) this is very handy for marking locations that you would want to return to later in the game...

anyways, that is just my stupid thought of the day :o

It's a pretty good idea. Maybe we should be able to put little tacks on areas and we can label them whatever we want

Classic was the server that brought everyone to Graal. And its still the server that is bringing in the people. All Graal 2001 did was kill Graal's community.

And you're ignorant as always.

If Graal 2001 killed Graal's community, big deal. It lets the game continue and survive, and that's what counts.

No. All it is, is eye candy. Nothing more. You can't RP very well... I do like the NPCs though. The lag is what makes me say no though. :(

Good job on what you have done so far. Glad there was stuff to do in the game. It would have been really bad if all we did was walk around heh.

Spunky2000ca 01-03-2002 08:13 AM

Personally, I don't care. I haven't played it. I cannot seem to find the right files for Graal2k2, I'm not going to bother anymore. We just had a triple murder within 100 metres of my house, so i'm preoccupied.

Want me to be specific? Fine.

There were 3 people living in the house. A father, who recently had a back injury and now couldn't work, a mother with feet problems, and a 34 year old mentally handicapped son of thiers.
The father recieved a back injury a few months ago, and now couldn't work on his farm, which he gave his life to, and he also couldn't take care of his son - since both jobs required a lot of physical labour.

It is suspected that the father and mother (all names havent been released) couldn't take the burden of having to sell the farm animals, that they loved and cared greatly for, taking care of the handicapped son, and handle the physical injuries, so the parents committed suicide by connecting a hose to the end of an exhaust pipe on their motor home, and bringing the end inside. The died from the exhaust.

This has been labelled a "Murder-Suicide" because the handicapped son oculd not have made the decision to commit suicide - he was 100% dependant on the parents 24/7.

I apologize for saying a "triple murder" but that's what it feels like, alright? If you still don't believe me, you can shut your mouth, and walk the other way, because I am grieving.

Hmm... That wouldn't be murder... it'd be suicide. How would you be greiving or whatever if you didn't know them? (Names were not released?)

Well...

--Edit--

Ok nevermind I see your point...

You ***** I mean that since there are 1 billion+ people in China and it isn't all that big (while it is still fairly big) that there are lots of murders. Go shut your hole.

Well...

Excuse my if I have enough memory to remember who lives in what house in my neighborhood.

Also, didnt you see the paragraph about "Bringing in the 34 year old son, who couldn't have made the decision himself" part?

I think not.

Stupid 60 second crap... Well I'm off to play g2k2... Oh and with your problem, just run setup again. Did you do that in the first place? There's a G2k2 package you need to download. (roughly 1800k)
