I think we are all overlooking the fact that konidias gave himself a pearl necklace.

Good luck konidias, I tried to sell pearl necklaces on Graal2001 some time back but no one would buy them. I took that personally!@!#

hmmm this would give the bomys pearl diving a purpose other than selling the pearls for 1 g and there could be other colored pearls for the necklaces

Here is my opinion
Necklaces: Good for another job, Craft them using pearls, gold, diamonds etc and sell them if you like. Have about 5 or 6 different kinds
Wings: I don't know how to produce these...
Backpack: Good idea to pay for them, but let them have certain attributes (with a backpack you can hold maybe 5 bottles for milk, not three)

Dare I say...pearl necklaces, 15G apiece but require 5 pearls and can only be made by humans?

Pearl Knecklace: 10+ pearls and a hair off a horse
Backpack: Kill a cow, take its skin, and turn it into leather
Wings: 10 birds, and a Magic ritual requiring 200 gralats, and you need to do it on mt Antora, in a shrine fabled to be the closest place a man can be from Heaven.

Dagger: Kill the elephant, use its tusks (offensive?)

Backpacks and wings and stuff on a player isn't anything new, but it hasn't been done on 2k1 and I am just asking if it should. From the poll results it looks like a yes, so I will begin editing all the gani's adding the new attribute in :)

The backpack is the best idea... can u make it possible so that bomy's can wear them too?

It's just that G2K1 isnt a place for winged people, it would be so stupid to "produce" wings and everyone would wear them making me and Alkaren normal players while we are currently unique :(

Pirates dont wear armour, it hunkers them down.

The only armor a pirate would wear is a rather large belt buckle >=)

i suggested armor along time ago,
and so did lotsa peeps,
but no one liked it,
but i guess konidias suggests it and they do,
oh well as long as i get armors loL!

i had the idea for necklaces and earrings that were directly connected to mining and i started work on them (the different necklaces and earrings would alter your attributes, like some make you faster, some stronger) and you would have to craft them but brady didn't want to script it or something

Yes editing all ganis is way to much work,
and it actually makes adding new ganis like
impossible if you always need to add all the
attachements. I am planning to add a
special gani command to attach sprites to other
sprites, like the hat to the head (will look like
(ATTACH 40 100 -8 -16 meaning that sprite
70 (hat) attached to sprite 100 (head) with offset
-8 and -16, which means when the head is drawn
then the hat is drawn on top of it).
So you would only need to define the relative positions
to the body sprites (possibly in a global include file
or so), and you will automatically see the necklace
in all ganis
