Sorry man but not everything in life revolves totally around the main principle of religion, and if i am correct it says that there is only one god who you may WORSHIP. No where do i see it says that you can not glorify someone for the heroic deeds done by that group. Sorry but with everything you say you sound more and more hypocritical to soceity.

Glorifying someone will, and always has, involved "praise".

I think the firefighters should be respected, and I don't care how you choose to do that. In fact, that picture may have no relevance to a person whose religion does not believe in angels.
So really, take it for what it is, a simple image on a computer screen, linked from a website somewhere.

ok i havent posted in this threa since yesterday and just came back from rollerblading and i am disgusted at some of the things said. first of all antago, i fully back you up. i give fireman respect and all but not glory. i give glory to the one and only saviour Jesus Christ. i believe there are angels watching over the fireman yes but i dont worship or glorify them. and the New Testament is not about Jesus only it is about... the New Testament! the part about Jesus would be in the Gospel.... Matthew Mark Luke John (did i forget one? lol) so if youre gonna say something about it... read it first

I don't see much about jesus here tali buddy. All I see is an arguement about whether or not you can glorify heroes and heroines. God may strike me down for this but how can you not glorify them, that act in my opinion of risking their live for others is "godly" and the mission god has enscribed in their life. Antago if you don't agree with me well I could care less. Birds are boring so how about you fall off a cliff and land on a sharp rock.
