The problem for me isn't usually staff who do "bad" and "corrupt" things. In fact, truly harmful violations are really few and far between.

The reason players tend to hate admins is not because the admins do bad things, as the players usually say, or because they are just vindictive against them, as the admins tend to say.

The reason is that administrators love to stress how much they "give" for graal and how "underappreciated" they are. Do they fail to realize there are almost no players who would decline their positions?

It's like this... If I entered a charity raffle for a car, and lots of other people entered and all wanted to win the car, and someone won, how would he be looked upon if he said "See how charitable I am? Why don't people admire how selfless I am to win this car?"

Seems admins don't realize that's exactly what they do. They should be saying "I am very LUCKY that I have been given the oppurtunity to do something that so many people are qualified to do. I will always do my best to do my job AS GOOD as they would have done it."

Of course arrogance is irritating. And arrogance comes from both sides, but the admins should take responsibility for being humble. Until they realize it, they will never get the "respect they deserve."

I mean think about what you said.. If I walked around saying "I'M SO GLAD I HAVE THE CHANCE TO HELP OUT GRAAL AND BE ON THE STAFF" people would just start saying that I "suck up to stefan to get positions"

No matter what, admins and staff are looked down on by some just because those people have positions. Period.

Konidias, have you ever read your comments on your position objectively? I cringe whenever you write about how much you've given up. Of course you've only seen one result, but that's because you've never tried changing you're attitude.

Nobody called me corrupt. And, quite frankly, I think it was the way I treated people that was the reason. If you distrust people as you do, they will continue to act the way you expect them to.

not everybody hates all admins i already said before james was a great accounts person, sparkplug is great at everything he does, as was ryan, lyndzey,panda, (more i am not thinking of), and quite a few of the classic staff.

lyndzey was head police person once correct? and where are her hate threads? oh thats right, no where.

I think one of the reasons everyone hates bird and konidas rather than lyndzey is because "fame" hasn't got to her and she is fun and they are totally changed by their "tools"

I dislike the fact that people make threads like these.

If BirdBird wanted to stay to play Graal, he should stay to play Graal. If he just wants to be popular and get pity, that shouldn't be a reason to stay. I say go away, if that's the way your attitude is, Bird.

I have tried, honestly I have. I'm willing to change if it makes everyones enjoyment any better. You tell me how I would be a good staff member, and that's how I will be.

Should I just ignore people and go about doing my work? I mean it's hard to avoid conflict when you are a police and level maker... :(
