Never actually did work for G2K1. Just kinda made some stuff that they used, directly or indirectly. And a lot of stuff everyone was amped about that the NATs sat on. Sælei and Zulites for example.

Oh, well i think someone should start working on the races.
For appearence humans can just use the normal heads and bodies and then yaw can take some heads and make them look vampirey for vampires and then for zorbis get some heads and make them cynober and all that.. heh the players could do it for the heads but i think the staff should.. i mean if were going to have races might as well make the people look like the race they are o.o

Uhh, so are you still working on it? i hope so, graal2001, with three races and the kingdoms out would rock :)

The Sælei are a lot closer to completion.

I got the ganis together for the graphics, and I could script it - got a couple assistants for that - but I just can't get motivated knowing every race I've made to date just gets scrapped. Nobody in power has any particular interest in "complicating things" with another race, which would demand parallel quests...

Pretty much. Has its origins in how pretentious Olde Englishe types write Encyclopedia as Encyclopædia. That and I was trying to differentiate the Sæleis from Faeries, which would make it a little bit too Zelda-like.

Development has stalled again. No graphics help at all seriously demoralizes me. I might get to putting together what I have so far in NPC form on Graalympus, maybe, but right now it's not looking too promising.

We also do in Denmark, but basicly you use the æ instead of ae on english ;O

Thats really cool. But instead of having to click on stuff, just have them walk, and after a certain time you start to dry up and need into a body of water or something. I like that picture where it shows the venus flytrap eating the ****, reminds me of "Little Shop of Horrors"

Anyway, I hope its completed, but don't make it on 2k1, then people would have to reset and that would suck.

Perhaps you misread. I was positing that using the full, correct spelling of the word 'you' is pretentious. It is not lazy to type more keys!

My point, then, is that it's not pretentious to use the correct spellings for words. Rather, the opposite is lazy and indicative of the inability to spell correctly (eg 'ur' as an easy replacement for 'you're' and 'your').

Back when I was co-manager of G2k1 (alongside Kamuii), Kawaii talked me into scripting the Sæleis race. It was going to get done in one day but she decided to never get on RC and tell me what all she wanted them to do. :(

Tragic, really. So many races never got finished.

I'm sure it will be more considered in the future. Though they could have been done in the past, more needs to be working in the present.
