Maybe Tig can set up an online/interactive HUD/GUI for this point event? So EMs can set Points (or the EA maybe better) after the events instantly in the Editor and players can check them out on the Server? Or maybe a board like the XMAS Token Board so people can keep track.

Points are taken care of. All EMs have access to my document and it logs when they make changes.

You will now be able to earn points at any event you go to. This will allow players that can't be on during the set times to gain points as well. This should also make it a little more challenging for those that just log on during the times and log off right after they are finished. This starts immediately thank you. :)


Edit: Raffle and Monster Spawn are the only events you don't earn points at. Sorry forgot to mention this.

It is not challenging to sit around and do nothing on GK, waiting for an EM to host events randomly throughout the day. There was no challenge previously and there won't be any challenge to it now.

It's gone from an ok event idea to "whoever spends the most time on gk gets soccers or watever best in slot item we can pull out of our ass this month"

If the prizes weren't so over the top i'd be fine with it really. but when you're essentially hosting a 31 day raffle for top tier items something's wrong.. ironically raffle is the only event that doesnt give points that count towards the big ass monthly raffle

I also suggested to lower the prizes drastically. because in like october/november we have high tier items flooded the market and everything will be worthless and the economy will even get worse

Yeah. But at the same time it sort of ruins the purpose of the event doesnt it? Originally it was supposed to be some sort of massive month long event with bad ass prizes. If it's a month long and the prizes are lowered people don't want to play. Especially not if they're forced to max out their GK hours in order to have a fair chance of competing.

I'm not trying to bust the events team's balls here I'm just voicing the pretty obvious concerns with this change that for some reason went right over their heads..

Most of the people who complained they couldn't be on for the 1 hour (or 2 hours?) that the point events were hosted are not people who spend their every breathing moment on gk. This change, if anything, punishes the people it was meant to help out..

It may hurt the players that log on for the events and log off right after I agree. It also gives players that aren't able to be on at these times an opportunity to win the monthly event.

I do agree that some of these prizes have been pretty intense and that can be toned down slightly. We wont tone it down to far to where players don't want to participate but still can be toned down.

Besides the first month we haven't technically added new items to the server. Stephen has been doing auctions and the items that have been auction are usually the prizes that are given out. So besides the last to holidays we aren't effecting the item values because the items were already in game.

I am simply trying to help keep Graal Kingdom's some what alive. You are right Challenge was the wrong word to use. However, I have yet to see anyone come up with an idea in complete detail that can be worked on. This is simply a trial phase so we will see what happens over the next 7 days. I might just cancel this whole points event completely.

You right I don't know why they're trying the new event system now and going to not give as good items.. How can you even take it into consideration deciding when there's 7 days left you agreed to slightly decrease the item worth.

It's not fair if you tone them down now. After all the time people spent to get their points and the fact that the concept of this is to play,get points, receive a good prize for those who end up top 3 and now you plan on toning the prizes down.

To earn a point at "points events" a player must win. The winners of every event also gains event prizes. The points events are experimental in nature and I see it has caused some unexpected and unusual criticism; it may be best to just close it immediately.

I agree with about cancelling it though after this month. I tried plenty of times talking to both you and Tashkin before this month even started, and in the middle of the month. The answer you gave me (Stephen) was ask Tashkin. Asked him he said it's going to continue. I subscribed my gold because I was told the monthly points system will continue. This new type of system happened just 3 days ago. I wasn't pleased it happened but I dealt with it which is why I'm playing to win. Finally after all the criticism that has happened you decide to cancel it. I only play this event system for the major prize not the 1 EC or 50 rubies you get after winning events. Why cancel it now I did work hard to gain points if you want to cancel it at September please do so, But when were 4 days from ending this month It's totally unnecessary about cancelling it now. If (ANYBODY) were in my shoes I can guarantee you they would complain just as much or even more then I am.

let's be honest here.. soccers for attending musical chairs, waterglass and chance 4 times a day is out of order.

So far as I understand the complaints so far, it is actually considered far too little (in addition to the prizes earned from winning the events). I'm not sure I understand the logic but clearly there's some discontent.

You say it like it's not hard but I don't see you everyday participating in events.
It's that easy to you come participate but all you doing is complaining.

I'm not participating because I have no interest in winning. If you think it takes effort, aside from showing up, to win musical chairs or chance you're playing the wrong game. They're both luck based and waterglass is a joke to anyone who has played it more than 10 times.

A prize like soccers or gpa or any other ridiculously unbalanced item should be prizes for monthly spars or bi-monthly spars honestly. Logging on for an hour a day to collect event coins should hardly be called effort.

I'm mad about how you wanted to tone the major prizes like I said before I absolutely do not care about the prize you get from winning events. For as long as this system continues and whenever I win an event and get offered a prize I'll deny it. My only interest to participating was the top 3 prizes. Since people get given Ec most events they win they want a more beneficial way to get rid of it. I heard about the Ec shop being supposed to be updated 2-3 months ago, But still hasn't. Updating it will definitely motivate the people to win events and gain the Ec to craft the item they like the player count would rise as well.

You tell me this like I haven't noticed before you did? That's mainly what my thread was about. Waterglass does take effort though. I (rarely) ever win lucky altars or musical chairs. I mainly only win spars..

It would be more like logging on for 2 hours but that was the old event system now you have to stay on for way longer. So you're saying a monthly spar which takes 1 hour deserves a gpa or soccers.. or even bi-monthly.. I already know that most luck events are hosted most of the time but having this monthly spar as tashkin says will only give (The Fully Geared) a chance. Unless if there ever happens to be lower level organized ideas. Tashkin even changed the other system to this one just so other people have a chance.
