first rule of era: every player knows exactly what needs to be done to fix it—and it's so simple.

The system should be able to maintain itself. It shouldn't rely on a single person being competent or active because as proven over and over again-- they never are. |
well, for years competent gang leaders were appointed (by manager or gba) until the last dude (i dnt remember who) came by and gave gangs to nas, rambot and other players who r not even worthy of having any sort of rights in a gang
the system can't maintain itself cuz when a gang leader decides to quit he might decide to give the gang to his nooby pal, and it's staff's responsibility to not let that happen what if the gang leader is innactive but won't give up his gang? how could such a situation possibly solve itself sales? this is all assuming that the new gang system is totally useless and i'm only considering what used to go on when gangs used to be the basis of era..if ur not good enough to join a gang then make a party and raid era mafia |
The last manager just appointed Smogy29 as Leader of PPA - don't think we can trust these guys very much.
Reverting back to the old system is not going to present any nominal gain. The prior system was scrapped for similar reasons, quit trading problems; solve them. The solution to this system is its completion, as originally planned by those who founded the idea and has reiterated a thousand times over, Most importantly: A purpose to raiding: The Point-Shop is a must. Secondly: Guidelines to maintaining or losing gang-ship. Thirdly: A systematic method for gang events and other competitions outside of raiding that are conducted in a COMPETENT manner. In addition, guns stats were never to break the .1 freezetime limit at the release of gang guns. Gang Guns were supposed to be at-most, adjusted to Tear 2 Standards (.15 freezetime). Basically, average weapons with unique abilities. Their statistics are still stored by me (about 9-13 of them). The gang system, as of yet, is partially functioning due to the fact that its partially completed. Reverting to a primitive system would solve nothing... rather, just finish it. |
