FAQ/PR are just going to end up linking everyone to the wiki instead of actually supplying players with useful assistance

The "Player Relations" title encompasses FAQ.

It's stupid to have both PRs and FAQs because being a PR isn't demanding enough to warrant branching answering questions into a separate job.

I just want to know who decided it would be a good idea to give JKL anything to do that involved typing, and publishing said text on the internet.

PR doesn't even make sense anymore, there's an item lending system now, which was the main part of the job

Disagree. Being a PR who actually works is way more than just watching some lends. Being able to answer questions, not be a rah-tard and know how to check logs, and deal with any/all player issues/problems.

And I agree with Sales, it's stupid to have separate GP/FAQ teams. I mean, how hard is it to answer questions when all you're doing is idling on tag for EC's?

I don't think you understand the concept of "Player Relations". PRs are supposed to be the face of the staff team. They should be on tag to provide an easy contact for players to go to when they need help. Answering questions, watching trades, settling disputes, and just helping players out in general whenever they need it are all things that a PR should be doing.

PRs should also act as a bridge between players and the rest of the staff team. When there is a problem that the PR cannot handle himself, then he should forward the information on to another staff member who can (the support center was introduced to make this easier).

I like the wiki, but i almost cried when i took a look at all the gun graphics. But then again, they do fit perfectly with the rest of era.

Nothing needs to be. Their little play pages and updates just make it look like a 5 year old is editing it.

It just needs to be well maintained by someone of moderate intelligence so the information remains correct through updates and changes, but they can't accomplish that because they're too busy running around with (Wiki Admin) tags talking like they're somebody.

I'd like to see the wiki team also run the Era news business.

Wonka's and his team of geniuses' additions to the Wiki are so much more entertaining than the original work.

So in other words they're just FAQs? Might as well bring the FAQ tag back aswell.

Era didn't even need FAQs when it did have quests, it definitely doesn't need them now.

I don't believe we have screwed up any original work, or much have it, made everything look worse or "humors" to the Wiki. If you can point out any additions that do not fill in the theme of the site or otherwise ruin the way the site looks, please say so.
