The timer on this thing should be increased, people just run arround and finds a way to stand still for a second and a half and keeps doing it. before you know it they are safe.

Do you mean the 5 second time after entering a no-PK zone, or the 25 second timer for shooting someone?

He means what I've told you to do numerous times. Instead of having the timer freeze when you move (in a no pkzone), extend it... but I think it'd be easier to reset it every time you move.
Also, do away with the after you shoot somebody timer, or make it extremely long... since people simply run around the gmap until it winds down. Instead, if you've shot someone, a 5-second timer regardless of how long ago it was... is in place when you enter a nopkzone. If you move, it resets.

If you've killed someone, make it 7 seconds. etc etc.

Its pretty logical... and would do exactly what it is you're trying to do, prevent running. Rather than just requiring more effort to do it, it'll eliminate it.

Thoughts, inputs, suggestions to these proposed fixes... gents;

Problem 1: There's a timer (10-15 seconds) after you've shot someone and are in PK Zone. People will just run around gmap until it runs down.

Solution: After you've shot or killed someone, whenever you decide to enter a PK Zone. The pk-timer will be in-effect; length depending on what you did.

Problem: The timer is only 5 seconds regardless of what you did, and it freezes whenever you move. People can just run far, stop... run far.. stop, until the 5 seconds runs down.

Solution: Make it 5 seconds if you only shot someone, 8 seconds if you killed someone, 10 seconds if you killed more than 1 person. Make the timer RESET everytime you move or are shot.

Problem: People are using spar complex, and events house main as safe havens.

Solution: Make those rules apply there too.

the timer should be really long, like 10 minutes if you kill someone that is, if you do not kill someone probably like 10 seconds.

I want this timer removed from me when I am the one getting shot while I am not even wearing a weapon or whatever.. I keep getting killed because of it, i dont even shoot myself and still i get the pk thing when i go in no pk

Yeah, when I noticed it I thought it was pretty stupid too.

It's only a 5 second timer if you are shot, versus the 25 second timer if you shoot somebody.

A good remedy at this is to not be bad at the game.

I don't see at all why you have a timer when you are shot.. That's just stupid, Makes it impossible to stay alive since i'm really slow (Can't run)

Here's a word of advice: Don't get shot.

If you're too good of a PKer and rarely get hit yourself, the timer would never take effect for those you are PKing. Either way, just avoid getting shot for 5 seconds.
