There's a boundary when it comes to these things. Sometimes it can be fun if it's just joking and maybe a little competition but usually it gets out of hand.

And racism is retarded and I don't know why it's a part of this game.

Generally speaking racism boils down to a severe lack of intelligence. Also, I'd say prejudice is probably a more appropriate term as well; racism denotes an underlying ability to exercise power over another group of people.

It's not. There's not a significant number of players that are actually racist in this game. Even the ones that jokingly throw racial slurs around are vastly outnumbered by the rest of us.
