I know about the 4 graals quest, but you have to do the quest only to get 2 hearts (or stupid heras now), but that quest doesn't look like the MAIN part of the game.

I think she is trying to point out to Stefan that the pope hat, being religious, won't be put up, when the church, being a religious figure, also, is up.

The hat bishops, and archbishops wear is called a "Mitre", and is not like that. It looks very different, and it is not white. Only the Pope may wear white. Bishops wear one that is usually violet. Cardinals wear a red zucchetto, and the Pope wheres a white one. There are different designs for each.

I agree there, except the part about wearing it would look like you are making fun of Him. Someone would eventually use it, to make fun of him, in which case people would get offended, including myself (I am not Catholic, but making fun of the Pope, is something I would not tolerate.) If it was changed to a Mitre though, would that be acceptable?

No one doesn't have to tolerate any other religion, but you do have to respect what it stands for

I'm am not Catholic. I would never consider being Catholic because of the following reasons. Please remember that these are my beliefs. I don't care if you like them because it doesn't matter. They are my opinions and only God and time will tell me if I am right.

Catholism preaches the prayer and worship of idols through the advocacy of saints.
The bible strictly states as said by Jesus "That no man comes to the father except through me."
Because of this statement it is not possible for purgatory to be real as Catholics believe, because you can not pray for a dead soul. Once it is a person is dead they will be judged upon how thier life was lived for God. No ammount of prayer can change that.
Catholics believe that a priest can tell you your sins are forgiven. But no one can forgive those sins except Jesus and God.

Saying all this I will tell you that I do not recognize the Pope as a religous icon and saying or making fun of him is not blasphemy of your religon. It is difference of opinion. If you don't like that oh well. Why should I have respect for someone that teaches and preaches what he does. For that matter what makes Catholics, particarlly the Vatican believe they have a right to keep the information that they keep there secret from the world. They do these things to control the way people see and fear them, because, "They alone can see that mankind can not handle what God deimed to give the world".
They cut several books out of the bible when the printing press was built because they thought that most of mankind could not handle what was in them. If you are Catholic you need to search you own history and find out just how much your leaders control your own personal action. I claim no religion. I claim a belief in God and Jesus Christ. I believe he is the way the truth and the light. Not some priest at the local 503 parish that says, "Your sins are forgiven, go in peace." Get a life and get real. Catholism does not even preach alot of the things that are in the bible, because those things would be detremintal to the things they see as "Truth".

Having said all this, shove off and let the "Pope" hat in the game.

As a side bar for those of you who don't know what 503 is you need to really look into your religon if you are Catholic.

Stefan and Unixmad are right. I just thought about it and it would be very offensive to any Catholic. Many "silly" people would use it to make fun of the Catholic religion.

You guys want to hear bad stories about the church? You know in the middle ages they didn't exactly have good intentions. I am Catholic but this is the truth, I am not defaming the church here in any way

Every Pope in the middle ages was somehow corrupt. He gave high ranking jobs to friends and family, they taxed the peasants and kings heavier so they could benefit financially and they made it the "will of God" for them to be successful in every aspect of life. The Avignon Papacy is a perfect example of this. There was one Pope (Alexander V or Alexander XI I forgot which) who had incest and every night he would literally get the *****s of Rome to march into the Vatican and they would have a big orgy and other disgusting things.

My point is that not every religion is perfect, they have all had their dark side in history. But being athiest and saying that it's not fair is not a good enough reason to get the pope hat up

I invited my catholic (he is in the church choir, volunteers every week, never missed church, that kind of guy) friend over today who also plays graal. Anyways, I was going through my hats, and he saw the pope hat (I had replaced the hobo hat) He asked if it was the pope hat and I said yeah, and he told me to put it on. I started running around, while he was laughing. He even told me to go on a PK rampage with it, but I told him no one else could see it :p. That just shows you how offensive it is...
