1) Introduce yourself. Who are you? What do you do? Where are you known? Why do you play Graal?

I am Selflon, also known as Adrian (and probably many other names), I am 22 years old and live in England. I first started playing graal in around the year 2000 though to be honest my memory that far back is a little fuzzy. I used to play on classic and more recently I am found on zodiac; though I have frequented a couple of other servers in the past. I play on graal for enjoyment and for something to occupy free time with when I want to relax.

2) Experience with "online-only" staff teams, including playerworld work here on Graal.

I had a position as an FAQ on Graal The Adventure for roughly two to three years; rising eventually to the rank of FAQ Administrator before retiring. This was followed by a brief stint as a LAT on Graal The Adventure which was not overly successful. More recently I was hired for Player Relations on the server Zodiac; during this time I dealt with questions, those breaking the rules, scripting issues; as well as some more serious issues pertaining to Staff abuse.

3) Assuming you have piqued our interest with your qualifications, what makes you stand out as an applicant?

I am mature person and I always try to look at things critically and objectively allowing me to make rational decisions when faced with problems. I am usually a good judge of character with the ability to "read between the lines" in presented situations.

4) What is your education level? Are you employed? What ammount of time can you dedicate to Graal-related duties each day?

I have recently completed a degree in Biochemistry and Genetics and I am due to graduate with honours on the 23rd of July. At present I am not employed as I am in the process of applying for PhDs which if successful will start in October. I can dedicate between two and six hours a day to Graal-related duties. If I acquire a PhD this would drop to two to three hours a day.

5) What do you see that needs changing in Graal's playerworld policies?

Most playerworlds are unique in the methods of their scripting and style of play and without knowledge of individual servers it is not possible to cater for their individual needs. I believe the PWA would benefit from assigning members a number of servers which are considered to be their specialised servers in which they spend more time thus better understanding the differing needs of these servers.

6) Show us some examples of your good judgement in certain situations.

During my previous position as FAQ Administrator I had to show good judgement of character in who to hire as well as judging how to punish people who abused staff rights or did not perform their job satisfactorily. Likewise as a member of Player Relations I had to show good judgment when dealing with miscreants be these player related or staff related.

I recommend this application based on his excellent job as PR during my time as Manager on Zodiac. :)

Interesting application, indeed.

Off thread topic:
I'm kinda surprised anyones still bothering to do this application... It's been up for like 10 months, or just under. I can just about assure you that no one who has applied/will apply, here on the forum, will get chosen.
