Eventually it doesn't work because the gui-control is not really connected to the player, it should not be hard to copy the player-attributes manually though like

actor.head = player.head;
actor.body = player.body;
for (i=1; i<=30; i++)
actor.attr[i] = player.attr[i];
for (i=0; i<5; i++)
actor.colors[i] = player.colors[i];

I know, however... If the attributes changes, the GuiShowImgCtrl doesn't change with it... That's the more complicated part.
