Good art follows in the rules of anatomy, I guess.

Otherwise we would all just draw Potato Heads and be "artists".

Propper anatomy is not applied her, choke on a shoe-horn. (but don't die, that would suck.)

It's a matter of style, you can keep it realistic and have the anatomy part above all, or you can keep it cartoonish like this piece, first off, it has giant head, secoundly its arms are made of rubber ;p

Yea, I know! Da Vinci was so Emo!!!Da Vinci was an utter genius, of his works, The Vitruvian Man is my favorite. It's considered the most anotomically correct drawing ever.

Leonardo Da Vinci's anatomical drawings were much more accurate, and the among the only accurate leading up to the 18th century. The Vitruvian man displays the anatomical ratios present in all things, in this case humans. This is actually a theory by some really old Greek guy, who's name I've forgotten (starts with a P).

I don't know why you're quoting me, I was being sarcastic. I posted his anatomical work of the structure of the skeleton to show that, just because an artist produces material which contains "morbid" images does not mean they're "OMG SO EMO LOL".
