Not alot of people play the Alpha map and the Wild Cross map, partly because it is slower in the old v2.22 client. With v3.1 and v2.3 they will be better to play, but may be there also other reasons why they are less interesting. So please tell me what you think about these things:

1. The Wild Cross map could be reduced in size to put the focus on actually capturing the flags instead of running through the huge dead forests.

2. Is the Alpha map making sense or should it be replaced by a more interesting scenario, like "King of the hill" (capturing the main base and protecting it), "rescuing the hostages" (the game finishes when all terrorists are dead or the hostages are rescued), or like in Counter strike the terrorists must place bombs on special locations and the other team must prevent that.

There is definately an issue with the gaps between action. If the maps were made smaller, or more vehicles made available, it would be alot easier to play. Also, I do suggest a "king of the hill" type scenerio, since it would be alot easier to manage. Alot of players just go into the game to kill people instead of actually getting a goal, but if there was only one base to capture for a certain amount of time, people would probably play it more.
