It would be nice if you could triggeraction an circular area rather than just a point. It would be most useful for anything in which proximity from an object is involved, such as the chain reaction of explosives.

yes, or something like the new onwall2 (V3)

From newfeatures2003-v3.txt
- onwall2(x,y,width,height) to test a rectangular area

for triggeraction2 like

triggeraction2 x,y,width,height,action,params;

That might be useful too, but you definately need a circular one if you want to talk about distance.

triggeraction2 centerx,centery,radius,action,params;

<- Suggested this back on NW. But it's not really necessary. All we need is a way of triggering individual players from the server - then we can just find out what players are in the circular area and trigger them directly.

Also suggested long time ago but you can use shoot command and detect radius from the x and y of player to the x and y of landing

how is that different from any two sets of points? bleh, what do you mean exactly?
