at first we feared that the magic users might wipe out the warriors and barbarians on the battlefield with their magic but now they have to take second to charge up their spell and if they get hit they have to try to cast again...

and then people said the bow users are too weak...well they can be used to stop the magic users. if they try to cast spells they can shoot them from even far range so the warriors and barabrians can concentrate on the fighting...

and the priests are thought to be weak well they have a healing spell that they can use to heal wounded fighters

omi RP wars will be great ...

And arrows are supposed to be weak on 2k2... how would you like it if you came to an area and this guy levels away just nails you and you die?

As with most PVP rpgs... The Damage:HP/Armor Ratio is off the chart. I can take about 3 hits before I see that bed in the sky.

Well the main ways of attacking can split up into 3 parts.
Hand To Hand (Swords and stuff)
Long Range (Bows and stuff)
Magic(Fire and stuff)

So it should work like this:

Hand To Hand--->Long Range--->Magic--->Hand To Hand

Makes sense really.

Long range weapons arent going to do as well against warrior when they are standing right next to them.

Magicicans need time to do their magic so the bows can hit them when they are still.

Magic can be used on hand to hand people because they have to get close to them first, giving the magic users the time they need.

I think the real problems with wars will be as follows......

When you die you lose half your experience. So if you are on level 6 and you die you lose like 16,000 exp.
Seeing as experience takes so long to get people arent going to want to lose it so wont compete in wars.
If the exp loss is removed then people can just keep respawning making wars never ending pk battles.

Then theres the problem with being able to destroy stuff.
Say you manage to win the war and you take over a small enemy base. Whats to stop some random person from going and destroying it while everybody else is asleep, at school/work and so on.
