If you have 20 strength you get an extra +1 on your WC (weapon class)
If you have 20 dexterity you get an extra +1 on your AC (armor class)

Barbarians, Thieves and Sorcerers start with 8 AC.
Warriors and Alchemists starts with 9 AC.
Priests start with 10 AC.

Barbarians start with 17 WC.
Warriors start with 18 WC.
Thieves and Priests start with 19 WC.
Alchemists and Sorcerers start with 20 WC.

Some info was contributed by ChocoboGrn. *grumble grumble*

Anyone else find it strange that Warriors have less AC than Sorcerers and Thieves?
Also that Warriors start with 1 less WC than a Barbarian? Considering Warriors rely on their wits to come up with a tactic to fight an opponent and a barbarian relies on brute strength, shouldn't their WC be the same at the beginning?

The lower your AC and WC is, the better.

Ugh, I know that. Look at what DragonX posted, then read what I said, then realize that by less, I meant worse.

Oh, sorry. I think I must've misread something.

That is strange that warriors have less ac then wizards. Doesn't seem right.

If low numbers are good, then why do high str/dex increase the AC/WC?

If they decreased, people would think it was bad.

+1 means it actually takes 1 away Kaimetsu. I learned the hard way.

I really don't understand why unixmad did it that way either. It only causes mass confusion.

Does raising your physique do anything?
I know the more physique you have the more "slots" you have for different kind of weapons like under my physique i have melee weapons, missile weapons, carrying, throwing, and martial arts, and i can handle five more...
but what else does physique do? does it make you stronger does it add to your strength or anything?

Barbarians are slightly stronger than Warriors, but are illiterate.

Yeah, the thing is, Barbarians get way more advantages than Warriors do. They should get the same starting WC and AC for both classes. Barbarians are SUPPOSED to be literate, I believe somewhere that Stefan said it was a bug that they didn't start with the literacy skill. Barbarians already get an advantage with bonuses in Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity. The only major loss they get is in Inteligence...
