Is there anyway to change (increase/decrease) the player's speed directly? I know that the Lizard Shield makes the player speed up, but how? BTW, thanx for reading this post, and many thanx if you reply!

this sounds simple but its kinda complicated..
that i know of there are no direct ways of doing this .
u have to do a few things..
1 timeout with the speed addition (like if u want the player to move 1/2 tile faster u do +.5 to whatever dir hes moving ..)
and the hardest part is the onwall .. depending on the speed the onwall will differ..
onwall i kinda suck at. . well not really but i havent made (almost!) a 100% perfect onwall..
its not that hard to make a pretty good one tho..

me make level 10 shield, level 10 shield be fast as Peg boots and let arrows go through you.me not done yet but soon.

i stole the pegasus boots script and added an if (playerisshot) {playerhearts=+.5;} type of thing.

umm, that won't really work...
if you want it to go through him, and you use that, it'll hit him, then make the hearts go up. then you've got if they use Fireball =/

Chances are better of just detecting the box around the player, scanning all arrows, if their x and y is in the box reflectarrow (which in multi makes the arrow seem to turn around and continue through you), or just remove it altogether.

You can do the same with explosions, but it's not very tidy.
