the kingdoms castles can be taken over by capture different areas of the castle and the king must be killed this would make a good RP event cus ones kingdom must take back their castle (and only the castle by be taken over if the king is there)

altho each Kingdom has there very own Ship
Medieval's could have a Rightous and Honorable Galleon
Samuari's could have little fishing boats
Zormite could have Seahorses has boats
Underworlder's could have War Torn Battle ships
and of course the Pirate would have a Pirate ship

of course this is my 10 cents

I love the boat idea, but we really don't have much enough water for large ships like that. Maybe if the world were expanded a little.

Also if events is what you want, visit http://www.graalnet.net and keep yourself updated on the latest schedueled events. There is one being scheduled for a later date as I write this, go apply for a position!

yes! A cannon in graal would be so awesome, and putting down the planks to board a ship would be great!

Maybe they'd have to build their fishboats?
For example, zormites would fish to get a seahorse...

The underground castle will not have a boat, because, well, it's underground.
However, a boat would be a nice idea. I can see quite a few RP's popping up.

walking on boats would be pretty simple except when the boat moves it would have to move every player the same at the exact same time so that it wouldnt be too shaky

Godspeed it is about attaching a player
to an object (npc or another player)
Then when the boat moves the player that
is walking on it will automatically moved with
the npc. Actually the player position will not
be relative to the level, it will be relative to
the npc position. So when the
(server-side) npc moves then the player will
automatically moved with the npc.

At this time the problem is:
The npcserver could move all players that
are on the boat/ship, but when the players
are not freezed then they will walk around and
jump back as soon as the npcserver has
sent a new position. The client and npcserver
try to change the same variable at the same
time and the player movement would look
terrible. That's why the player is freezed when
he goes on the boat, to avoid that problem.

So we need to make it so that the player position
is taken relative to the npc

why don't you make an island for every kingdom or something, underworlders would have an onworld ship base or they could have like monsters instead =)

Every Kingdom will have a castle Medieval had the first castle, Zormites have the new water castle and hopefully the Pirate mini-kingdom will have a pirate ship(pirate dont live in castles)

Pirates do too have a castle!
They live in a giant rock shaped like a skull, and the lower jaw opens to reveal the secret Pirate Ship dock inside! Duh! ^_~

It's a hideout, it's a castle, same difference. The Underground castle isn't a classic castle either, but if it's big and has defences, it's a castle.

Yep, itd be good, a small mountain with a fort built over it, and cannons at the top... what youd need though is a good palm tree graphic.
