a cheque system would be good for if you needed to give a large sum of cash to someone on short notice.
for example;
- player says "cheque 1000" or opens an npc menu and sets the ammount.
- a cheque npc item is placed in the trade item npc
- player can then drop the npc
- The target player then takes the item!

also i'm not sure if it could, but the player could add the target player's account name into it so that only they can pick up the cheque, that way looters wont steal so easily.

no offence to those who don't, but majority of scammers are guys under 15 years. =( they're usually tryhards anyway.

I could start you know..it seems to go by the wayside any way...i got scammed myself maybe i should scam back...that way i could pay off my 5g and Steel Drum debt..:D

i'm not surprised, that's why i don't earn money because i'm ither gunna get pk'd of it or scammed of it.

i save my cash for items from actual in-game shops or for tools that are essential and must be bought from players.

other than that, i don't spend my cash on hats or instruments.

Sounds good, although it might not prevent scamming
because you have no guarantee that the other one
gives you the item you have payed for

and stefan i think it would be a good idea to make a hat trading place like the item trading up by the mines
like you stand on the square
say the hat you wish to trade
the amount and wa la
also i think you should add more supports to what the trade hows actually trades there been a lot of items added

no offense steff but i think being able to drop items increased crime..you shouldn't be able to drop anything accept ruppees...wait...that'd mean you'd hafta script the market over...nm then

ya, everything has it's weaknesses, just gotta find ways to prevent exploits

Then make it so that when the player does the cheque, it asks him what item, player, and price. Then if the player has that amount and the other one has that item, then it does the trade.
