Umm...what!?!?!?

grim_squeaker_x
03-10-2001, 07:34 AM
Wow, Zulithe has managed to do something I could not do, he managed to reply to this, and for that achievement I congratulate him.

Zulithe
03-10-2001, 07:37 AM
Leave it to Zul to make something outta nothing :p

But the postman on Graal 2001 would be interesting, I love that from Majora's Mask

03-10-2001, 07:38 AM
Well I think it can be scripted using server wide NPC's, but it isn't really necesarry since we can just send PM's anyways.

03-10-2001, 07:39 AM
Well, I don't know what yhou are talking about, but if there was a mail system on graal, where you could like write a letter to another person (Once the house system gets up), that would be ubber 1337.

One job for humans and bomys could be delivering mail :D

grim_squeaker_x
03-10-2001, 07:40 AM
Hopefully they won't require you to buy a post bag for it ^_^

03-10-2001, 07:42 AM
I did see Stefan Knorr he looks like Steve from the Hit Show BLUES CLUES!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA * I watch it every day every minute Blues Clues Blues Clues*
And the dude who looked like the postman was whereing a postman outfit like the guy on MM It was quite scary . And this is in real life

Zulithe
03-10-2001, 07:50 AM
Real Life? Okay, now your off your wire

03-10-2001, 07:52 AM

Zulithe
03-10-2001, 07:59 AM
I sure hope so! I wanna see it, that sounds like a great thing to add to the game. You could design quests around delivering mail for NPCs, make sure they are in the mailbox at certain times so they can be delivered on time, it would also be a way to make gralat by delivering mail?

Psyker

We could make a MogNet central. lol
*kupo!*

03-10-2001, 11:10 AM

Crono Illusion

Hmm... there's an idea... a system so that you could write letters like email and deliver them to mailboxes at a Graal Post Office or player's houses... if it were doable, I think it'd be great. Plus, there'd be people who could be Postmen, and travel across the world delivering letters to player houses and PO Boxes, and get paid daily for it... I think it'd be a good idea, what do you all think?

And, if you're wondering what Drak is talking about, I saw it too, so I'll explain:

Today, a Shakespeare theater group came to our school, and performed a play. One of the actors looked like the Postman in Majora's Mask.
That's where this all came from.

...And no, he doesn't ACTUALLY watch Blue's Clues every day every minute. If he did, he'd be truly insane.

03-10-2001, 12:00 PM
I DO TOO WATCH BLUE CLUES!! Youve been wondering wahts under my hair right right? ITS A TV ATENA STUCK IN MY BRAIN!!!*

Crono Illusion
03-10-2001, 12:06 PM
At least you don't spend all your time watching Captain Planet.

03-10-2001, 12:10 PM
I do watch that show too Lots of the time but not all the time

Nai
03-10-2001, 12:12 PM
Yeah! The postman would be cool! And we can get the Postman hat like on there and check the Mail and find Gralat!

03-10-2001, 12:13 PM
Postmans scare meeee

FatherDante
03-10-2001, 03:45 PM
It would be kind of fun to communicate using Graal mail, even though we can already talk fine using PMs, wouldn't it?

GreenNamesOwnz
03-10-2001, 04:04 PM
Erm thats basicly what I said...
Anywho, it could easily be done.

greezi
03-10-2001, 04:38 PM
Did you know that the Blues Clues guy died of a heroin overdose? It sounds stupid but it is 100% true! I saw it on the news AGES ago.

grim_squeaker_x
03-10-2001, 06:25 PM
Well you could of course use the letter system to send messages to someone who is offline, although that's probably where the Private messages on this message board are for.

greezi
03-10-2001, 06:26 PM
Really, it is true.

FatherDante
03-10-2001, 10:19 PM
That's freaky, the first time I saw Blues Clues I said: "Steve seems like the kind of guy who would commit suicide..." You know how some people do that and you don't expect it? Well, these days, unexpected people are commiting suicide so much, you can kind of guess who will because itm would be so unexpected.

Zulithe
03-10-2001, 11:40 PM
So no pictures of the postman yet? Post em!

And Blues Clues, eh like, that show is for preschoolers, who in their right mind would subject theirself to that torture?

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 01:48 AM
Dunno, I never even heard of it until yesterday.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 01:49 AM
Never heard of Blues Clues? Man...

Well, I understand, I've no idea about what they put on Nick Jr. nowdays either.

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 02:32 AM
I think it's easy not to have heard of if you live outside of the US or actually outside of America like I do.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 02:54 AM
Yes, I understand.

How is Netherlands spelled there?

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 03:00 AM
Nederland to be exact. Almost no difference that is, and as for extra things I will now provide this sentence in my own langauge as well:

Nederlands om precies te zijn. Dat is zowat geen verschil, en als een bonus zeg ik deze zin nu ook nog in me eigen taal:

Heh, I like my own language.

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 03:22 AM
What disturbing children's shows are on TV in the Netherlands?

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 03:25 AM
Well we have Pokemon in my own language, Sesame Street in my own language, teletubbies in my own language and erm... Soemthing called Kabuoter Plop I think, well all quite disturbing.

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 03:30 AM
What's Kabuoter Plop I?
Do you have any pictures from it, or could you describe it?

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 03:32 AM
I can't describe it or give you pictures because well... I haven't ever watched it but if you translate the name to English it'd be be:

Gnome Pop

Which sounds pretty disturbing.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 03:41 AM
Gnome pop? That does sound frightening!

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 03:42 AM
Sounds like an electronic version of Whack-A-Mole to me.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 03:44 AM
I said the title and my brother said: "Is that some kind of soft drink?"

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 03:47 AM
Hmm... it could be a drink, but I think it's more likely a gnome-smashing game.

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 03:48 AM
...poor smashed Gnomes... :(

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 03:49 AM
Pop seems to me to suggest that they exploded from the inside.

<:( poor exploded gnomes.

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 03:51 AM
See I knew it, it's sick... Well anyways to make up for it:

<:)

Gnome smiley ^_^

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 08:50 AM
I know someone who thinks that lawn gnomes are going to eat him.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 08:57 AM
Does he seriously think they'll eat him or is it just a joke?

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 09:01 AM
He actually DID think they were going to eat him, then he realized they were inanimate objects a while later... Then he read Hannibal, and thought that there were people who were planning to eat him... There's always something he thinks is going to eat him.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 09:03 AM
He sounds like a neurotic paranoid.

Crono Illusion
03-11-2001, 09:05 AM
Well, that does accurately describe him.

FatherDante
03-11-2001, 09:08 AM
I could only imagine... he sounds kind of crazy. ^_^

grim_squeaker_x
03-11-2001, 06:51 PM
Hmm, if he'd play Graal2001 he'd think the bomy's were going to eat him I guess :)

Crono Illusion
03-12-2001, 01:29 PM
That's what makes him even more evil... he uses an iMac and hates everything but iMacs.

FatherDante
03-12-2001, 01:29 PM
Hates anything but iMacs? Man... that's a sad state of affairs.

Lycia
03-12-2001, 06:09 PM
I saw the corn.
