GK Changes
 
Here are a few of the changes that have been made over the last week. I will try to keep this post updated as often as I can.

Edited the F3 option and moved the options to the Graal Kingdoms tab.

Added an ignore event message option.

Increased EA and IWD spawn rate.

Reduced shop reset time from 30 to 15 minutes.

Added Samurai and Forest Kingdom back.

Reset the ferry to get to Forest island.

Added the PK flag to forest.

Updated the map to add locations for all of the Gods and Xmas Dungeon.

Set Kingdom houses to not die.

Reduced weight of platinum coins.

Nerfed Kvasir and Ice Fiends.

Dustari castle revamped insides.

Speed adjustment for players capping speed at 5 adjusting the visible speed to show lower numbers. (Discontinued for now.)

Speed adjustment to the horses to make them usable again.

Added a new hat/helm to Hotaru shop next to the church.

Updated ALL wizard hat stats.

Added Clothes and Hairs to shops.

Disabled creation of Clans, kept previously bought Clans intact.

Fixed the haircutter bug when taking off hidden hats.

Tig Bot:
- Requires 2 IWD's and 2 EA's now.

Okay please tell me that you made a list of the new cloths so that I won't have to remake my entire list that I ran to every town on every island there is on gk to make :o

Also the hats were still causing bugs? I thought this was fixed a long time ago. Guess I never noticed lol, thats cool that its fixed tho.

Change logs are great. I think Bluemelon tried to do that on Era, it lasted like 3 updates a few years ago then was never touched. It's honestly a great way think to do, and helps show things are actually being done. Whether bug fixes, New Content to the smallest change in something. Nice job. :)

-Forest Dress (Bottom)

-Hairs:
- White hair left table.

Bomboria:
-Hairs
- All on middle table.

Doesn't just cancelling it basically do the same thing until another event prompt comes up? Or does it mean ignoring all of them in the future until you toggle it off?

It's about time. However, just realize that it does mean a shift in values on a lot of things. But I see it as a positive change since the point of GK is really character building and item upgrades are a part of that.

Also a great improvement. Shopping in itself can be a tedious chore when shops don't reset often enough.

Also very nice to see. We may not have as many players as we used to, but some people ought to represent each kingdom anyway.

Kind of weird with the new markers being blue flags at half staff when the rest of them are white. Also, a few places have cluttered text now, like the North Spar Arena and the Altar of Aengus.

Happy to hear it. I spent a lot of time on improving my AC just to find out I couldn't fight them without dying in seconds. They shouldn't be so weak that anyone can kill them, but not so strong that they can take you down just because you didn't react in time once or twice.

How about removing speed caps from armor altogether? All the weak armor that actually has that isn't that powerful to begin with, and it only hurts new players who can't afford better armor yet.

Also, my speed before was well over 5, yet now it's showing as being locked at 1.5 instead no matter what I equip. Instead of showing speed as a decimal number, why not just have it display the total amount of speed points you have? I don't even know what that 1.5 is based on, and when I un-equip certain pieces that have speed on them it doesn't make a difference. So I might as well have a different item in that slot completely in some cases.

I really like the clan system. Is it on its way out? And why? (I own one which is for players that have maxed all their levels out, which is why I care about it.)

Be really careful with re-scaling economic stuff. Not to say this is a bad move or anything, but a lot of prices are going to change because of it.

Many times I had to re-create the clans that were lost and most of the time I had to just wait for someone to complain to me about it or do it off of memory.

Also I remember selling EAs and IWDs for 10 diamonds. :O That was crazy times.

This is why I have disabled future clan creation and enabled the global guilds again. I have heard numerous horror stories about this system already. Quite frankly GK was never about Clans its about Kingdoms. So to be honest it makes no sense as to why this was added to the server in the first place. That is just my opinion though.

So a question about the speed changes...

Is 1.5 the new hard cap for all players? Is it not possible to go beyond it in any way? Or can your actual movement speed still increase even though your speed still reads 1.5?

DianCecht glow is now disabled if you have the light effects disabled.


I have almost finished a new poison system as well. We will be doing some more testing and I will post here when it's finished. :)

Raffle house in Hotaru can now be used by players and kingdom leaders to host their own raffles without requiring a tag to use it. Before you ask yes I have locked the item to the person that put it on the raffle stand. Only the person who started it can remove it without a ticket and only that person can end it.
