I downloaded the Zone music pack, it was some pretty neat techno-like stuff, it sounded pretty original and nice... but I didn't really think it sounded so much as a "war" theme, it sounded like people were going to have a party with pillow fights involved or something! ^^
So I was thinking, people always ask me to make "medieval" music, or medieval fantasy.... I'd like to break out and make some spacey war music... It's a very exciting idea, but it wouldn't be techno-ish... It might sound something like this.... this is a low quality free sample of a song called "Lift Off!" by Star One (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/clipserve/B000063Y0J001001/0/104-2458950-5936762) ... That's just to show the basic idea of what it might sound like...
So the question is, what do you think?
It would be an "in-my-spare-time" project, just by myself for fun.. :asleep: just so you know..

Yeah, I am sorry... I accidently put the filenames in lower case when the were wrote normal... and the links were case sensitive I guess. I can attach a zip file of ALL of my midis here, though.. They will probably download for you much much faster!
Enjoy, guys. ;)
Now you can hear [most] of my work. ^^

Yes, that's true.... thanks. It's been the best thing I have found so far for making music, atleast until I start recording guitars and stuff. :p

I like the melodies (e.g. track 4 and 15, 16), they remind me of Zelda sometimes, but the arrangments could be better, or it's because of my stupid midi players.

Wow, thanks! It's been a learning process, I'm still working on it.. It's tough.. I'm learning better at what people enjoy IN music, but the hard part is putting that into the music. It's much easier to just play something on guitar than it is to do it in the computer, that's why I was thinking of buying a MIDI guitar. :)
I haven't started on any Zone musics yet, but since I got such a good response, I'll go ahead and play around a bit. :P
